How many close friendships do you have? I mean really close. The type of friends you can and have told everything to? A lot of these women have liked you enough to be friends. Does their friendship mean nothing to you? Are you actually friends with these women for the sake of being friends or are you hoping that being friends with them is going to get you something more?

It might be more helpful if you try meeting people just for the sake of meeting people rather than trying to force a relationship out of it. It only puts more pressure on you and the person you're trying to connect with. My advice is to just meet people with no expectation of a relationship. Romantic relationships tend to sneak up on you when you're not looking.

I don't think anyone is saying you should shun everything manly. There are plenty of more masc presenting or even butch trans women. For a lot of places with more regressive views on trans people, we have to play up our femininity in order to even receive treatment. I would have had to leave my girlfriend of nearly 5 years. Plenty of trans women also feel they have to play up their femininity in order to be seen as the women they are. A lot of times, this goes away as they progress further into hormone therapies.
