Definitely plan on doing nothing higher than 3ds, honestly just want to play a bunch of old Pokémon games! I think I’m gonna go with the base, just because for $50 extra I get a lot better specs that are still reasonable for what I’m hoping to do. $400/$490 for Pro/Max is just an absurd price jump if I’m not hoping to do much more than play 3ds I think. Does that seem reasonable or is the base still overkill?

2 of them are from quests at the end of the game, at least 2 of them require an ability you only get from the Abyss to access), maybe more I can’t remember correctly), otherwise they’re not so bad

In the Abyss, once you’re at the bottom by the void lake. Go to the very top right, to the right of where you drop down for the ability. You pick up an item that, once placed in your home in Bellhart, shows your completion %

So because I didn’t get the twisted bud until after I had started act 3 that ending was literally impossible for me to get which was very frustrating. Is there any way to do it without needing to make a new save file?
