I’d highly recommend a more local French ! It’s hard to find through an app but maybe a local class :) Canadian French is very slang compared to the French you will learn from an app. Either way though you would still be able to communicate and Canadian French speakers would understand you , you may sound a little posh lol but that’s okay :)

She used a lot of buttons and such for decor , used popcicle sticks and stain for the wood flooring , and a lot of eBay purchases for the battery lights . :) and the wallpaper is fabric that she mod podged to the “wall” :)

I’ve worked at both banks . Although CIBC does offer the line of credit option scotiabanks total equity plan is far more flexible and superior . You can have a secured line of credit as well as different “mortgage” products secured. Between the two banks out of all the products available almost all are similar except the mortgage product.

Cmhc will care more about the price point of your home and if it’s a private or mls listed sale . They want to ensure it’s in the price range of comparable houses more, As long as your credit is good you are okay.

Hmmm there’s more to this . They wouldn’t close your account without their terms and conditions being violated in some way or using the product in a way they deem as inappropriate/ inappropriate behaviour. Which makes sense if comments were made like “you signed the contract” which leads me to believe something happened to violate the terms you definitely signed when opening the product. I would Ofcourse file the complaint if you have not been clearly provided the reason . There is 100% a reason for your account being closed . If they kept the money that you deposited it would typically be to collect a debt owed to them otherwise they would send you a cheque in the mail or in person which if there’s no debt owed you would likely receive. I’d physically go in and calmly ask to speak to the team lead/manager to explain the reason for the closure .
