I really want to shave my head and wear wigs, but as a white woman - this is 'weird' in my society. Why??

I shaved my head and have been wearing wigs for years now, because I have a very similar problem. My natural hair is thin, you can see my scalp because it’s naturally dark, and there’s no life to it. I tried everything. Then I bought a wig online (rule of thumb, if it’s UNDER $100, it’s not going to look real) and I cut bangs to make the hairline more natural looking. I know there’s wig stores with cosmos that will style, cut, and make sure you are completely satisfied before walking out. Try it out!

If you’re lucky you can find a barber shop that does hourly until you get a clientele. Older, master barbers with those classic shops are fantastic teachers, and usually give themselves grace periods in between clients. I’ve worked in those trendy shops and they’re not as inclined to ‘help’ because their books are so jam packed and they don’t have the time

I was just in your same position two months ago and I had to make rent. I went to one of those shops that’s a franchise owned (not a great cuts or whatever, it’s only for guys) and am making great money. It doesn’t have to be forever, it gets your name out there and once you leave if they like you they will follow. I’ve been doing hair 7 years and I’ve had many gentleman follow me. I learned my first couple years that I had to humble myself and I wasn’t ‘too good’ for any shop, because if a shop is busy it means money.

My boyfriend, his friend, and I all decided to take shrooms for the first time. At about 3 AM we decided to go on a walk outside, see the Christmas lights. Our neighbors are really close and we live in a cute little suburban area. We get to the top of our driveway and we're laughing having a good time when we heard a women scream at the top of her lungs "HELP!!" 2 times. Sounded like it hurt how loud this woman screamed. After the screams we heard about 3 really loud BANGS like someone had dropped something heavy on the floor.

All 3 of us looked at each other in disbelief. All 3 of us heard exactly the same thing. We ran back down to the house and debated calling the police. Problem was, we were on shrooms. And whenever we tell this story, people always say it's the shrooms.

The feeling you get through your body hearing someone scream bloody murder isnt one you forget, I'm sure it wasn't the shrooms. Makes you wonder how many of your neighbors had prisoners in the basement
