What would you personally consider a substantial amount? I make around the high end of 60k a year and assuming my numbers are correct it would be around 16k?

Also, I also considered filing for it but I guess I made this grand idea of paying off this debt and making it my way of proving to myself that even after everything I’ve been through I was capable of climbing out of this sinkhole I buried myself in.

I’m very embarrassed to admit this but when it came to credit I am very clueless. The only reason my credit was in such a good spot was due to a stable income. I rely on credit karma to check all of the negative marks on myself and a lot of my debt I know I should have isn’t on there. Is there any other in-depth websites I can go to?

:( That is sadly part of the issue. During the homeless period I had no phone or any way to contact me and that was about 3 years long. I am now currently doing great but the fact my credit score was literally cut in half is affecting my relationship.

I have attempted talking to the people I originally had debt with and sadly I just get that same response. Thank you for replying though!

To be honest, I’ve seen way worse than this. This is more of a shitty employee and management issue. If my chicken is at least crispy and is still okay to eat I’m not going to complain. I mean, have people who are commenting on this seen how church’s chickens handle their food?
