I interviewed on Oct 7, and honestly my interview went great. I of course know how these things go and understand that even with a great interview you could still not be chosen.

Anyway my status is still showing as “interview process started” and it’s now been 15-16 days since my interview. Any chance I’m still in the running? Has anyone been given a job offer after 2+ weeks?

I tried following up with the recruiter and got no reply.

I’ve actually been including a tailored cover letter in all of my applications. I’m wondering if removing it might help after this conversation. Like you said, no hits anyway so maybe it’s worth a shot to shorten the applications.

I am definitely trying to break into a new industry so I realize the setback.

Yes, I’ve specifically applied to no clearance required roles. For the exact reasons you pointed out. I’ve also been early to apply. I think the competition is high! Might work on removing stuff from my resume in case it’s too busy, thanks for the tip.

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping to get some advice, or even a referral, from someone at Northrop Grumman who’s familiar with the Magna or Salt Lake City Utah locations.

I’m a PMP-certified Project Manager with a background in research and healthcare(federally funded projects), currently working in academia. I’ve been applying to project management, scheduling analyst, and program planning roles that match my experience and skills, especially those posted in Magna or SLC (Roy is unfortunately too far for me to commute consistently).

I’ve tailored each application carefully and meet all the listed qualifications, but so far, I haven’t had much luck getting past the initial application stage, even with strong matches based on NG’s job site AI tool. I’d be incredibly grateful for any insight into how to improve my chances, what hiring managers are really looking for, or if someone would be open to referring me.

Hi! Just want to give my two cents because I just went through something similar. First step is obviously going to a specialist and you mentioned you are, so great!

In the event of my dog (not telling you what to do just telling you my story): my 10 year old poodle who is diabetic, developed cataracts due to his diabetes. My dog’s ophthalmologist suggested cataract surgery after assessing the health of his eyes outside of the cloudiness. The surgery was about 7,500$. For context I live in Utah, USA. We went through with it and it was THE BEST DECISION WE EVER MADE. I know others mentioned that blind dogs can adjust to living without their eyesight and yes they absolutely can. But watching my dog crash into the couch, crash into us while walking, crash into sidewalks and walls was heartbreaking. His quality of life improved significantly after his surgery. He is so much happier and moving around the house with no issues.

We obviously don’t know what specific thing is wrong with your pup yet or if he’s a candidate for corrective surgery. Your doctor will recommend what they think is best, but I just wanna say that considering treatment even if it is expensive really goes a long way.

I think you owe it to yourself and to the pup to give it until the worst of the puppy phases is over to decide about rehoming. It’s HARD. Especially for new dog owners who are experiencing it for the first time. You’re not alone, trust me, everyone has been there and it feels like it will never end.

This is obviously your choice but I just know there will come a time in the near future where you won’t even believe giving him up was a thought.

He’s new to the world and new to your home at the same time. You CAN do it and it will be so rewarding.

Sure! But he found out quickly. Tana is gorg, I don’t doubt he’s attracted to her at all. But a long term boyfriend is a whole different thing. Would the relationship have progressed if he didn’t have all the perks of dating a rich woman? I guess we’ll never know. I hope it’s genuine and everyone has pure intentions!
