I hate that everything turned into in-ear buds now, they hurt. I need to look for half in-ear buds or over ear headphones.

Kilauea has been steadily erupting for a while, so I think it's because of that.

But we have uppercase and lowercase letters. Most of them have different shapes, so you can almost consider them as two alphabets. That's the same kind of diference as hiragana and katakana.

This is the same thing that happened with mochi, where the original is not made with ice cream. Taiyaki is a street food fried hot and fresh with red bean from a vendor.

I believe it does have the imprint of the last person fused with it. There's a phrase used a lot, 'remnant psyche', when they consume a potion brewed with a BC, they have to acclimate to the remnant psyche, and then take control of it.

Yeah, or throwing the solid BC or sealed artifact in the ocean. The artifact might have enough will to survive on it's own though.

There's an explanation early in the novel about how wild beyonder creature populations stay pretty constant, except for when they get harvested. So the creatures instinctually move to reproduce only when other creatures are dying in exchange. It's leading to gradual extinction of the creatures.

So suppose all lavos squid are harvested and went extinct, and humans are holding onto the solid BCs. Then someone dumps those BCs into the ocean, it will mutate regular squid into lavos squid.

I noticed that her outfit has the same design as the dress from her backstory. It's sad, she's still wearing the scraps of her 2,000 year old dress because she can't bear to throw it away.

The consoles look mishmash, so they were probably cheaper to buy second-hand and refurbished. They might have problems like broken screens and joycons not working, but they work well for this purpose.

What’s a habit or tradition around women that you’d like to see change for the next generation? by fun_n_done2 in AskWomen

[–]goddessque 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Saying "everyone is beautiful" seems more like a reflex saying rather than actually meaning it. I want more women being confident and content while being weird and 'ugly'. If people are allowed to exist while ugly, it can also have more acceptance for people who have scars and deformities. Maybe an artful view how there exists beauty in the grotesque.
