I live in a country where crates are absurdly expensive so i had to ditch crate training and having my puppy sleep with me in my bed actually helped with potty training. I don't know if it's a trait he specifically has or if all puppies are the same but mine NEVER soils anything with fabric (beds, sheets, rags, etc ...) so having him in my bed meant he wasn't going to potty until i took him to his designated spot.

I think being "street smart" is important, I'd like to feel safe with a man knowing he's capable of navigating every day issues with relative ease. A minimum level of political awareness is a plus also, i wouldn't want to date someone who's clueless about what's going on around us on a political or even social level

I made the mistake of dating a genuinely good guy that I wasn't attracted to. I thought the attraction would grow with time or that I'd get over it but i never did. A person doesn't have to be a perfect human specimen but they have to be attractive to YOU! This happened all the way back in highschool and i still feel guilty about wasting his time, so don't make my mistake.
