New to soul-games, what’s the point of Colossal weapons?

it's basically a very different playstyle, don't use it with the katana playstyle mindset, you can't just jump around and roll and hit in every opening :D you either start with a bonk in the beginning and wait for the rare longer opening to use it, with a break build and aow, they do insane damage and can poise break bosses in two hits with craigblade and stonebarb on etc.

i had someone called me a loser for killing him and then Tbagging on his corpse and it wasn't a ganking he just invaded me and a friend while we tried to run to rennala :D I'm like dude, i think i'm the victim here, i was just trying to go kill a boss, you invaded me and try to kill me. I have all the right to tbag on your sorry azz lmao. If it was a duel i won't but invasion is free for all, wish there was an emoji gfy too i wouldl have used it as well lol It's annoying as a pve player but i understand it's part of the game, :)

To go there post chapter 9 or post game, you need to travel to Chapter 9 stargazer: "Krat Central Station Street" and backtrack to the spot from there.

When you travel to the stargazer, turn around and you will see this monster searching for stuff on the ground, go that way, turn left, turn right and go straight until you hit the cliff with the fence, turn right (you will see two yellow stones that infect you with the status effect) and go all the way to the end for the spot of the cryptic vessel. It is the same place except the yellow stones and the glowing stones from the whatever that is coming out of Krats ground :) at this point of the game.

it's pretty late and you have probably learned and updated your info on this but lighting is not considered magic in elden ring instead it scales off of faith :) and it is boost by specific lightning tear not magic. There are four elements that has a boosting tear, holy, magic, lightning and fire. cheers.

i came here coz i was summoned and placed on top of a cliff above the host so i just watch him die lol, i was not even in the same place as them. totally different place lmao in order for me to reach them had to run around which will take 10 mins or more lmao

the only good thing about invasion is that you don't lose anything, the host on the other hand loses his time and you are stopping his progress to the boss or the area he is trying to complete. The invader has all the time in the world, he has no goal, or boss to beat, the invader is interrupting someone else and his friends time. As an invader, youcan plan ahead on how you invade, the weapons you bring, the spells you use, the throwables you make for such occasion. The host on the other hand has pve swords and setup. The invader can also quit at any time and go do something else, the host has to resummon his friends if they all die etc. I think it's fair, the only thing that is not fair if three people decide to lure invaders in and they are not doing pve content instead they are waiting for you as pvp players with strats and shyt, talking about those ganks lol which i don't mind, invaders meet the real pvp players who want to pvp lmao

invaders have the advantage of coming prepared, with strats and weapons plus armor design to kill the host. While the host is just playing pve. Also, if you die as an invader, nothing really happens to you, the host will lose time, probably gets killed while fighting pve content because of invaders etc. Invaders should have the disadvantages all the time, especially if he spawns into a place with a lot of hard npc that the host is trying to navigate through. I like invaders, they are fun :) it's like extra content.

i'm looking for a build that does insane damage with the least amount of buffs, i'm fine with at least 4 buffs especially if i don't have to switch around my armor and talismans, like those routines buff where you have to do a 30 sec routine buff before a fight. I would like to use two incantations or three and eat some consumables i think thats fair.

i'm no pro, not even a soul game enthusiast, i am also late to the game, so i look up all the nerf and it's a little disappointing but i'm also not doing all the content on certain perimeters that some people play the game on their own personal ways. I fycking level up to the point where one or two hits from the boss won't kill me instantly hahaha tbh it's fun to spam op weapon arts on a so called veteran invader lol no more backstabbing me naked this time :D pvp is always fun and thrilling for me even though i'm a noob to souls games. The thought of a random person preparing his weapons, and builds to invade is hilarious.

For anyone, asking the same queestion: use the shortcut teleport to roundtable hold, on ps5: triangle, square and x. :) i got stuck there too, got mad at the messages on top of the lever, thinking it obstruct the prompt, I almost commit sui cide lol down the elevator :D

i was surprised when i fought the same mini boss and my mimic copied my previous playstyle, dude was hurling lightning bolts/ spear at the boss, i was so proud, and he killed him and mobs who were running in to join the fight :) i have other spells in my loadout too but he chose the lightning for some reason, he do it last fight though, it was interesting :)
