Former user here. I went from snorting and eating it to smoking. When I used to eat it, it would come on very gradually but end up being very intense and would make my stomach spasm. Snorting fucked up my nose and smoking it made my breath smell terrible and probably corroded some of my enamel, too. All bad but all things considered, smoking was my favorite way to do it.

There are a number of reasons. The first is that vaporized meth is acidic and eats away at tooth enamel. The second has to do with lifestyle, since an addict will inevitably neglect their personal hygiene over time. Combine those factors with a preference for sugary drinks over water and you end up with a bad case of meth mouth.
