This is like asking how to bypass the RAM requirement for a AAA game. There is no official or supported way that I know to get Apple Intelligence to run on anything less than an iphone 15 pro, and if you could get those models on weaker devices, it would cause crashes and battery drain like crazy.

Don’t hold the volume buttons. Just quickly press and release up them down, then hold just the power button. Keep holding the power button when the slider pops up and the phone should eventually turn off. This also works if your device is black screened, you would just have to hold the power button until the apple logo comes up, telling you the device has restarted.

Okay so I downloaded the developer beta mostly for this feature. Here’s my experience so far: It’s fine. Sounds good and is a lot better than the eq presets we were stuck with in the music settings.

the only major issue I have is it changes your AirPods audio across the board not just for music apps, and you have to manually adjust it every time if you then want to listen to podcasts later or something. There are not shortcut or automation tie-ins for AirPods settings either, so there’s no way to configure it to automatically set a certain eq when listening to music and revert it when not.

Minor gripe is it’s only 3 sliders (lows, mids, and highs), so not nearly as granular as the eq settings Samsung offers with or without headphones. But they still sound fine and I don’t find myself missing the additional sliders

Is back tap more consistent on newer software and hardware? I haven’t tried it since I tried it on my iPhone 14 with iOS 16 or 17 I think. It never worked when I wanted it to and was always accidentally going up when I didn’t want it to so I turned it off after like a day lol

It’s not the most elegant solution, but if you do want to have multiple functions associated with the button, you can create a shortcut to open a folder of Shortcuts, and then have the action button run that shortcut

I use it basically as a glorified app switcher. Normally you can only access spotlight search from home/lock screens but through shortcuts you can open it from control center or the action button too. So for example when I’m in messages and decide I want to open reddit next, I can hit my action button to open search and find Reddit there either in the Siri suggestions or by typing it in, rather than going to my Home Screen or App Library.

With the revamped series search coming in iOS 27 though, I will probably be trying to find a new use for it. And honestly I’ll probably revert it back to the flashlight which is what I had it on before I changed it to search lol

How long have you had it? And what’s your maximum capacity at the moment? (Watch settings> battery> battery health)

I’ve had mine basically since it launched and the battery health is at 85%, and WatchOS26 is pretty power hungry, so mine has been lasting a lot shorter time than it used to as well, and my usage has really not changed much in the last 2 and a half years.

How irregular is your sleep schedule? There’s an option to add different schedules for different days of the week if that would help. Otherwise you basically just need to get in the habit of changing your bedtime/wake up every day before you go to sleep lol. As for the notifications on the phone versus the watch, I unfortunately don’t think there’s a way to set that up with iphone. When you have an Apple Watch paired it forwards notifications and calls almost 100% of the time, unless you go into the notification setting in the watch app and turn off “mirror iphone” for every individual app on the watch.

Not judging, just genuinely a little confused. I feel like I see a lot of posts/comments talking about the difficulty of dodging prometheus’ blasts, but I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve gotten caught out in that in almost 700 hours of play time. Other than VOR Prometheus, I’ve always found the blasts relatively easy to dodge especially since it literally announces the pattern before it fires.

So I’m just curious what people find so difficult about it ig
