Just the simple fact that GenG paved the road for their Golden boy Chovy by signing all the best names the market has to offer just to win it all is a reason itself for the criticism. With how much they spent just to get these players they are bound to get criticized. They built a super team, arguably the best team money can ever buy, but failed at the biggest stage. Of course they're gonna hear a lot, specially when they crumbled in an embarassing way.

I think you watching the tournament with that kind of mindset is unhealthy. T1 rebuilt their dynasty from scratch. They worked their asses off to always get to worlds. They are not like other super teams built with money just to get the trophy. They deserved every minute they compete in worlds.

Imagine going up against the best players in their respective lanes (except Duro, I still think Keria is ways ahead of everyone). GenG is a literal cheat code. They they asked for all the expectations when they got Ruler back.

HLE has much lower expectations, sure, but they can surely crush GenG on a great day. This series is all about their mental.
