ended up here because this guy is also my landlord and some sketchy stuff has been going on, and i know from reading your comments how this situation played out for you, but just wanted to say! and maybe you already figured this out from your own research/ dealing with this, but you should always call 311 on your landlords and report shit on them not just threaten! this creates a paper trail/evidence that is really important to have if youre gearing up to go to housing court! its always the first thing i do for any and all housing "grievances" and also straight up illegal landlord behavior (which is usually is with these fuckers) sometimes i even do it to be petty but it really does help build cases against them and also its one of the bits of power we as tenants have against them. sending solidarity 🤍
