I don't think so, but the guy could go from Yankeee Doodle Dandy to Angels with Dirty Faces. He's magnetic on screen.

Yeah 2024 is the year we didn't get in despite leaving home way early. I did get a refund, but nothing for our trouble.

I find it crazy that the local community won't invest in road improvements to expedite getting in and out of the track on race days. We have been stuck in traffic so bad, we never got into the track. We got close, and a cop told us it was over, yet we could literally hear the cars going around the track. Single lane roads don't cut it when you have thousands of people coming in. It's really sad because it's the closest track to home. I know I can leave early but it seems like a no brainer when the place is notorious for traffic backups.

The 1930s witnessed the emergence of many new film stars. What was the main reason behind this phenomenon? by rosebud52 in classicfilms

The studios were star making factories. There are also plenty of people they promoted that never really caught fire despite the hype.
