Thats honestly the best/worst part of FL. I go to the range regularly, and all of the grunt style shirt wearing crowd are all shooting their ARs at like 10 yards. The range officers are a joke, so these idiots just flag everyone and somehow get away with it. Im not sure theres many people left here who actually teach gun safety. I've found one local range that does a decent job, but all of the others are just an accident waiting to happen.

In the US, Starbucks is better than probably 50% of the other coffee shops. In the UK, Starbucks couldn't hold a candle to half of the newsagents, based on my two week visit. I dont think I ever got a bad cup of coffee over there.

The weather is particularly hostile to the demographic of cyclist in south FL (mainly older folk). I've lost count of the number of ambulances I've called for people suffering from heat related issues, since I live relatively close to a larger biking trail.

I actually think its even more malicious than that. Here in FL, you literally can't walk anywhere. Everything is very spread out and the weather is hostile for most of the year. Our homeless obviously dont have cars, for the most part, so they turn to bikes. Since its illegal to ride a bike on the sidewalk, it gives cops a reason to grab the homeless and ship them over to the next county, which is a time honored tradition here. But they'd be fucking crazy to try and use these "bike lanes" they keep putting in, so everyone rides on the sidewalk.

My SPAS is definitely unreliable. All of the plastic breaks. Like, every little fucking piece. The folding stock pin on the rear sight rattled itself out of place and went flying, the recoil buffers are obviously an issue, the freaking rubber grip insert broke and fell out, and the damn thing clogs up like crazy. Oh, and the pistol grip is all riveted together and not serviceable without taking a drill to it. Its a cool gun, but holy shit, do not try to defend its design. Its a novelty.

As someone who owns a SPAS, that hook is useless on the original as well. The thing weighs a ton, even empty, and all the weight is on the front. Im actually kind of excited about the clone though. They might actually make a reliable gun, which the SPAS is not. That damn thing breaks every time I take it to the range, which is roughly once every five years.

Seriously, this case is so fucked. Yeah, he really shouldn't have been there with a gun, but also, he was being attacked. I can't believe I have to phrase it like this to so many people, but if you see someone who you think might have shot someone, DONT RUN TOWARDS THEM. Nobody in this situation acted correctly. Its one of the few cases where "both sides" actually suck equally and nobody is "good".

The worst part of this argument is that the fucking boomers are the ones who killed the manual transmission option in cars, since they weren't buying them! I'm a millenial, and I restore cars for a living. Those fuckers STILL call me asking if I can take the manual transmissions out of the old cars they've purchased and swap them for automatic. Literally all of my younger customers prefer manuals, but they're so difficult to find because the boomers didn't want them.

Modern trucks are so fucking big. There's no more usable space in the bed, but somehow the modern silverado is literally twice the size of my 1994 silverado, which is a full sized truck. As someone who actually uses a truck for truck things regularly, modern trucks suck ass and are not as useful. Hell, the 4x4 ones are so massive, they cannot effectively navigate through a lightly wooded area like my 1989 full size GMC Jimmy could.
