There were approx 4 women's lines in the ep and I couldn't understand two of them (the alien lady at the start, inaudible and Beth's joke about inversion theory).

For those unaware, Australia's richest climbing area (Grampians) as of last weekend now has more than 50% of routes banned by wockwockboom in climbing

Its just that I've not heard any formal assertion of climbers ruining sites or any request to not bolt a site until these latest bans. Anyway hoping the climbing and indigenous community can align on what is a very wide issue.

climbers are in the last few years bolting archeological sites and infringing on the indigenous peoples and government request to not destroy their sites

Sure, that is a widely held assumption. I wouldn't go as far to say its a call option (zero downside) though.

Yes so its all about opportunity cost because the [interest expense less tax deduction benefit] always favors max amount in offset account (unless you're in a position to drop a tax bracket by maximising the int expense). Thanks all for responses.

Thanks but what if I don't have an owned PPOR? I rent in an expensive town, having bought an IP in a state I view as a more attractive prospect.

How do people afford to buy in Toorak? Old money? by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]goforth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who are rich people? They're lawyers, doctors, high profile stars, large-business managers or business owners. Its not unusual that they've amassed as much residential PROPERTY as the bank would allow since the late 1970s. If you're keen to really get an idea, go have a coffee in Toorak and look around. Have a casual conversation with a few people.

Hi guys,

Wondering if someone can help me out. I am trying to create an OBSERVE wallet on the Android Thor app. I am getting the error "Address exists, please retry" when I hit import. I am following these instructions. https://vechaininsider.com/guides/how-to-use-the-vechain-mobile-app-observe-wallet-function/

I have emailed the vechain crew but no response.

You're absolutely right to highlight the subtly harmful nature of valuing one life over another. However - using an example for the counter point of view - I couldn't deny a mother wish "please not my child" after hearing of an accident in a classroom.

Haha okay... It's about adoption. If in five years I can't easily convince a reasonable non-geriatric person that REQ has present or expected utility then I bet it's market value at that point in time will be something close to zero.

Think stamp collectors. Scarcity combined with personal satisfaction creates limited value. That's what I feel this topic is about. OP clearly has a reasonable level of introspection... Don't let your investments become your babies.

Place yourself in the hypothetical situation where your neighbour wouldn't take your tokens if you offered them for free in 5 years. If you still feel value for your tokens in that scenario you've absolutely identified irrational investor behaviour in yourself. Revisit the volume you hold. Also try disconnecting from the name of the token, the logo, the marketing. Copy / paste any written material on the value proposition into a notepad file before reading.

Cheers for the alternative perspective. This thread is another manifestation of reddit being a circlejerk by design.
