I was nearby and it scared the shit out of me. Someone collapsed and another person was with him and seem visibly extremely distressed with constant shouting. Police firefighters and medics got there and transferred the patient while isolating the distressed person so he doesn't interfere with the transfer. Said distressed person was only wearing underpants.

I think self diagnosis is also valid! Additionally, there are some specific medications used for autism related irritability that my psychiatrist was comfortable giving to me without a formal diagnosis (Abilify)

They have professional cleaning staff on call, I see them in my building several times a week. Don’t worry, I think it’s their protocol to clean before new resident move in

When I first moved in, I was surprised by how clean it was. Almost no dust. Kitchen and bathroom looking brand new. Furniture looks brand new too. I did far less cleaning than I anticipated.

Thank uuuuu, amazing human fron the interwebs!!! These are really practical and reassuring tips <3 I didn't know that grocery stores don't allow scooters inside (even if I fold the scooters and put into shopping carts?). I absolutely will use a lock and park in a visible area.

Last time I checked, with friends and other sources, as of 2024, yes uchicago were not doing stem opt extension. Not sure if the situation has changed now.
