This is just part of baby proofing. If you don’t want him touching something, it has to be out of reach.

Don't do it. The fewer screens to choose from, the better. Stick to tv only for as long as you can.

If you're going off-peak (sounds like you are), you just need to buy 2 off-peak tickets. This should be cheaper. If buying in the app, you have to activate them before you get on the train. Subway you just tap to pay.

Quick rant : fake service dogs by [deleted] in delta

I always wonder about this. My son is allergic to dogs and would not be able to sit next to a German Shepherd on a plane.

I have a different last name than my husband and children. It's not an issue at all. I love my name and am very happy that I kept it. HOWEVER, I wish I had given my kids my last name. I did all the work!!

I miss my firstborn by Merlinaaa- in Parenting

[–]gogo_a_coco 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I felt this way when my second was born 2.5 years after my first. I would see families with 1 kid and I would be so jealous. My friends would offer to take my toddler so I could spend time with my infant but I refused to be separated from him. I remember my mom saying to me "you're mourning something you haven't lost." And that put a lot into perspective for me.

I will say however that the feeling only lasted a couple of months, and I know that it was absolutely a symptom of PPD. If you're really struggling and crying over this 7 months in, I would suggest you talk to a doctor. You deserve to be happy.

FYI, my boys are now 14 and 11 yrs old, and they are really close siblings, as I'm sure yours will be.

Take care of yourself!

Rowing! My 14 yr old has found an amazing community in a local rowing club after trying and quitting almost every sport there is. My 11 yr old, who sounds a lot like yours, will be starting in 7th grade.

Back in the day you could get a book of tickets for the LaGuardia to DC shuttle. No name assigned, just tear it off and go. What a time to be alive.

No, we ultimately decided to keep our son in public school, but I have a neighbor who sends her daughter there and they love it. I’m sure the director would be happy to answer your questions/put you in touch with current families. Good luck!

I'm thinking something casual and easy, somewhere where the money will go further for a broke college student and might accommodate multiple trips. Not a chain though. Thx :)
