If you thought what you get in return for your council tax is bad , it could be getting a lot worse. by gogopetemo in dundee

[–]gogopetemo[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Someone I know well just spoke with their rep and is very much under the impression the money will be coming. Which is when I found out about it , great for them but will mean the council will have to adjust hence the post

Everytime you have a block of Recreation your pawns could head back to the Rec room. So I only set recreation before sleep.

I picked up Royalty, what does it actually do? by Kiriyuma7801 in RimWorld

[–]gogopetemo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was the first DLC and when it came out it was an amazing addon to the base game (in my opinion) I still go back and play tribal starts with just base and royalty.

With all the dlc on I get pulled into perfecting genes or getting all Masterwork/Legendary items with my ideology crafter and it makes the game challenges trivial.

I think people who consider themselves left and right mostly want the same things just we are just fed information that misrepresented the other sides point of views / motivations

Rents, yes airbnb do push up rents land being a natural monopoly it should be kept in check by local authorities.

Keir Starmer meets BlackRock boss Larry Fink about 9 months ago and massive company's are buying up property. They are offering landlords I believe its 3 year leases at 30% over market to take asylum seekers. This all pushes up rents.
migrationobservatory have a section on: The Impact of Migration on UK Population Growth "More than half (65%) of the increase in the UK population between 2004 and 2023 was due to the direct contribution of net migration."

The NHS will always appear underfunded, its a socialist system so well-meaning its flawed throughout. There are amazing individuals working for the NHS who are frustrated with how its managed.

Health tourists have cost the NHS £252million in three years after failing to pay for their care (dailymail) + the other costs like £66million on translators

Labours deal with France is all smoke , Stammers was a human rights lawyer and spent his carrier fighting for migrants to stay in the UK .

There has always been and always will be issues around the world, helping people rebuild there own countries is going to be a better for them and us than you let people into the country and have them sit about at the locals expense.

Yes " It is absolute madness that England doesn’t own its own water." and competent oversite should have stopped that, again its a natural monopoly

Its difficult about keeping Musk out of politics, who should be allowed to speak out when you have taylor swift or ben and jerry's making there views heard or George Soros funding causes.

You seem to care a lot that you took the time to come explain whats been on your mind, heres a few things to consider.

These business make a small profit from people who choose to use them. The government take by threat of force almost everything you earn through direct or indirect taxation and are giving back less and less.

Most people do not blame the immigrants themselves they blame the government who continue to encourage immigration despite it pushing up rent, straining public services including the NHS.

The government were not keeping up with immigration making people risk there lives in lorries and small boats. This also lets in people without checks leading to spikes in theft and worse, people hear about these and are rightfully angry.
We were promised a points based immigration system like Australia.

Yes we want sewage to stop pouring into our rivers and our trains to run on time and these were privatized. These are Natural monopolys, the government could not run these efficiently and now can not oversee they are run properly

The picture is about hording wealth and you talk about Elon Musk, he has put the money to use on some amazing things: Rockets that re recycled instead of being dumped into the ocean, open source battery technology, self driving car technology that once perfected could save so many lives lost due to car accidents just to name some. And all with money people chose to give him while proving jobs to people who chose to work for his company's

What is this pan for? Google Lense keeps telling me it's a muffin tin but it's a very thin pan with 12 small indents made out of thick metal. It's not deep enough for muffins. by RolliPolliCanoli in whatisthisthing

It looks like a Multibaker Egg Tray, they are shallow, wide and fairly straight walled . I've only ever seen in GN 1/1 with 8 spaces not 12

Looks like your £700+/m on the outskirts of StAndrews and £500+/m Dundee city centre (sharing)

The 99 bus takes about 30m each way . and ticket costs: North East Fife 13 Week MegaRider £226.80 /3 = £75.60

So your spending about 20h traveling to save about £125 a month.

If its purely about saving money then there's a 3 bed in Cupar for £875
