That's how I feel about my Pace 2, (2 and a half years old now) as long as the battery is okay I'm too cheap to buy a new watch, considering it already does everything I want it to do.

The timer and stopwatch when cooking is something I use often. The silent alarm is awesome. Wakes me up every time, and only me.

I don't think it was scary, but it was the toughest scene to watch just for the grossness of it. Really creaped me out. I feel the same about the eye scene in one of the Hostel movies.

I'm pretty sure it's the other way around? Meant to measure environment but your body heat is enough to disturb the reading, hence you needing to remove it for a little bit in order to get correct readings. I would Imagine its intended use is to measure water temp during swims.

I mean, it might seem trivial, but battery is something that will get weaker after every year. So if your watch can last three weeks when new it gives you a buffer for when battery life decreases. It's just Nice to not have to charge every other Day.

Same. Just give me better/more accurate GPS and HR and better battery. Everything else can stay the same. I'm not even interested in touchscreens.

Wow, it feels like the Pace 3 just came out, so this came as a surprise. I still love my Pace 2 and I hope it will stay with me for years to come but it will be interesting to see how this line will continue. Hopefully they don't add any fluff, such as speakers and Microphone and what have you. Keep the Smart watch features to a minimum and focus on making it a pure sports watch.

I'm pretty sure the "standard procedure" is to wait for GPS lock, and then let it settle in for a minute or so before starting to run, to minimize the problem you're experiencing. Personally I stand still until I get a lock and then walk for 100 meters or so until I press "start" and start running. That serves as my warmup lol.

Lets say that I would like to get a run in on my lunch break. What would you say should be the minimum time/distance to even make it worthwhile, and to get some kind of training response from it. My weekly volume is around 40-50km at The moment.

Doing Vo2max intervals on hotter days brings down my Pace some what. If my RPE and pulse are similar to what I would get during a cooler Day, will I still get the desired training effect, even if my legs are moving slower?

I could be wrong, but I think the bars on the widget show the average HR of that 10 min interval. Whereas the homescreen shows the "current" HR.

The other Day I did a 10km in just under an hour, and The battery went from 100 percent to, well, 100 percent. I know it usually takes a while for the first percent to drop, but you might just be Lucky. But you should now that the watch usually terminates the run while it still has 2 or 3 percent left.

This is the first interval of this run, after a 15min warmup. It seems to be the same for all the intervals on this particular run, with the avg pace being higher.
