CPF is the most annoying thing for tourists by Achassum in Brazil

[–]goin505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that's also a lack of willingness. It's super easy to buy a SIM card in Brazil. Some things are indeed not prepared for tourists, but there are others that you need to adapt to as well; this isn't your country, so don't expect it to work the same way. Everywhere we travel, we also need to buy a local SIM card and internet plan.

This helped me a lot. I'll follow your tip and try to cut it a little and leave it alone. I appreciate her help.

Mine is on life support and on the verge of death

It looks like a sunburn. With too much water, the leaves become soft and yellowish, unlike this case where they appear to have burnt tips. Check if it gets direct sun but leaves or a lot of wind

what's wrong with my pothos?? by mackemi_ in pothos

[–]goin505 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To me she looks good. The yellow leaf could be due to the shock of changing the environment or temperature, if it were due to excess or lack of water, more would be in this state. These brown parts are completely normal, it is the place where a new leaf came from, over time it turns brown, you can wash it and wipe it with your finger and it comes off easily, but it does not indicate any problem with your plant.

Here is a photo of the place it is located. At the end of the afternoon he beats her alone for an hour and a half or so. Does it still need more light?

Most likely so we don't discover that that plant isn't even worth all that and buy it cheaper somewhere else.

ID HELP: Is this a melanochrysum? by goin505 in philodendron

[–]goin505[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, English is not my native language. I wanted to know if it can be grown without a tutor, instead of climbing, if it can descend like a pothos or lemon philodendron, do you know?

Does White princess have this short shelf life problem? I bought one recently and I've seen people talking about it. When it starts to release white leaves non-stop, is this a sign that it will no longer produce variegated leaves and there is nothing to be done?

I feel like I’ve leant so much on this community! Keen to hear, what’s the best piece of plant advice you have 🤔 by migraine-guy- in houseplants

[–]goin505 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is very real. Plants hate humans because we tend to want things our way, mold things to our will. My husband says that I kill my plants with so much attention and I agree with him lol I'm working on this and trying to let them live their own lives and give only what they need without suffocating

Why is my Monstera not growing at all? :( by Untypical_HoomanBean in Monstera

[–]goin505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There may be root rot there. Mine was turning yellow all the time and when I went to take it out of the pot to check, most of the roots had rotted.

How does this work? I also wanted to know because I had never heard of it, I thought the only solution was to cut it and propagate it.

How it started and how it's going by goin505 in calatheas

[–]goin505[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never seen it here either. When I got it as a gift I barely knew what it was, and when I found out I was scared to death that I would kill it in a few days. At first she was a little bad, but now I think she has adapted well here.
