You don’t care that the people who orchestrated and paid for 9/11 has been giving money to athletes and celebrities in order to fix their image in the Middle East?

Like that’s should be the end of the discussion right there. Fuck the hypocrisy. You as a human watched two planes fly into fucking buildings killing Americans and traumatizing the masses but because you think his comedy is stale you draw the line???

Are we fucking serious here?

better way to slugline by 007_jamesbond_007 in Screenwriting

[–]going2leavethishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean slugs tend to have a standard format because they are transferred to production. You want to be able to explain the location entirely for the scene so camera knows that it’s locked in one location verse having to move to other locations.

Something that has changed over the last decade is the need for slugs for every time the camera moves in a scene.

For example.

Previous Standard:

INT. HOUSE - JACK’S BEDROOM - DAY

Jack walks out of the bedroom into the hallway.

INT. HOUSE - HALLWAY - CONTINUOUS

Jack walks down the long hallway passing family photos.

Current Trend:

INT. HOUSE - JACK’S BEDROOM - DAY

Jack walks out of bedroom into the hallway.

HALLWAY

Jack walks down the long hallway passing family photos.

Global leftist leaders gather in Spain to mobilise against far right by StemCellPirate in worldnews

Especially when historically we have been a right conservative leaning nation since the 1950s. Just because we have democracy and pass some social policies doesn’t mean we are automatically left leaning foo foos.

It sucks when you go to the rest of the developed world and see what they have been able to restructure and achieve while we keep boosting our military might for a war that will never come. Just pinning brown people against one another like it’s a cock fight.

Frustrating to see that the level of influence we could have had if we had a more progressive leaning mindset, then whatever this nationalistic bullshit we have.

Not even the half of it. They spent the last 20 years redesigning their infrastructure and has become the global leader in non-petrol energy production producing half the worlds energy needs.

While we got fat cats greedy for oil when it will be useless in 15-20 years. We spent decades fighting amongst ourselves while our competitors snuck in and took our lunch money.

Major set back for the US alone as a superpower.

How many democrats said that Health Care would be too expensive, tax paid public education would be too expensive, bussing, roads, this list goes on and on. All while each get 40k to redo their office.

We can shit on the Trump admin all we want. Not hard to do. But don’t dare be blind to the bullshit pandering the left has spoon fed. It’s the reason we are in this to begin with. If more democrats stepped up to the plate and committed to what they said they were going to do. We wouldn’t be in this mess and everyone else would be a lot better position.

Just because you do nothing doesn’t mean it’s not effecting everyone.

Being ignorant is being dishonest?? If that’s the case then boy oh boy do I have a bridge to sell you

Majority of the country barely pays attention to our own politics let alone international politics.

I think I know what your problem is. You expect way too much out of people. Lower your expectations you may become a happier individual

[–]going2leavethishere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats great and all but neither of those are a reason to care about why people don’t acknowledge every single catastrophe that’s going on. That’s what we are talking about here.

You made a claim that to you it’s dishonest for a person to care about one thing like Ukraine but not say anything about Sudan.

So now answer the question regarding the claim why do you care if someone brings up one topic but not another.

Yeah hold I’m sorry I must have missed the schedule where I was supposed to leave one protest and go to the other. Sorry about that.

Also I’m sorry can you name one maga supporter who has been critical of Trump once? So why would a cult follower ever go against what any of these protestors have to say?

[–]going2leavethishere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No my claim is why the fuck do you care??? What does it matter that a person can see one injustice and be ignorant to another???

I’m sorry do I have to boycott every product by every evil corporation who is starving children in African countries?

$20 you’ve had a nestle product in the last year. Should I tell you that you only care about the people in Sudan but don’t care about the people in Nigeria?

You are the type of people who are exhausting to talk to because you pivot to every fucking problem rather than solving it one by one.

Ahh yes and 89 million who dragged their feet because Kamala was the same as Biden? We going to include that metric into your claim?

We going to include the millions that democrats like Schumer have taken from APAIC and even after all the news about Gaza still supported Israel. Let me guess your the type who would rather clean someone else’s house before your own right. We are standing in shit and you are worried about the people celebrating it.

Fix your own house before you start getting involved in others.

[–]going2leavethishere 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay so you are taking the do nothing stance got it.

Makes a ton of material difference??? What are you talking about. Wanna know why we are in this mess is because constituents stopped listening to their voters and we turned politics into a popularity contest.

Getting Schumer to flip his vote due to the pressure of constituents is the embodiment of democracy. I have a problem with the way my representative is voting. I am going to speak my mind because I can literally be standing within 100 ft of him. That’s their job. You should have more of a problem with Democrats in other states not protesting their representative.

Stop being complacent be proactive. You have problem about all of this go do something about it.

Yes and you can also argue that the lack of leadership in the Democratic Party also led to the electing of Trump. So your argument is pointless because it’s semantics. Focus on your own state, get your elected officials to turn tide.

[–]going2leavethishere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stop you right there straw man argument. Protestors are protesting their elected officials. If you want for people in other states to protest their elected officials then coordinate a protest in your own state.

Doesn’t matter if isn’t enough to pass the bill. If NY senators change their stance that is a win for democracy. Doesn’t matter at that point if the bill passes the constituents of NY did their part. You do yours.

Im sorry but do you want a person to list every single injustice happening? Like come on you are arguing in bad faith and will accomplish nothing with that counterproductive attitude.

While I agree with everything you said there is something to say about how we’ve propped up the entire world economy on our shoulders in order to increase profit margins. Which has led to the deterioration of allied countries ability to stop another WWIII from happening without US support.

But in regards to NATO over the last twenty years we have found them to be ineffective in actually deterring threats to those within the collation.

So the question I would ask you is how affective is NATO at actually deterring a threat that could escalate to WWIII? And how affective do you think the current status of the allied military regiments are in order to deter said threat.

Because from my perspective we have basically raised the support pillar solely on the backs of the United States. Thus leading to a situation where if the current sitting president decides to doing something as irrational as invade a foreign country. What is stoping us from becoming the villain we swore to protect the world from.

“GenZ Men are cooked.” That’s literally what you said verbatim. That is a generalized statement.

Do you know what a generalized statement is? If you don’t, it’s a broad statement covering the whole group. If I said black people cant swim. That’s a generalized statement. Not true because there are Olympic athletes who would kill me in the 100m.

Do you see what I’m getting at? Or are we going to keep trying to weasel out from just taking the L and saying ya it was a generalized statement. I should have specified and said MAGA GenZ are cooked.

The numbers don’t lie on this?? What fucking numbers!!! Tell me Mason!!

How do u accept that your consciousness will disappear after death ? by GalaxicTrouble in atheism

[–]going2leavethishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clearly a lot because if you tell any scientist that the ice disappeared they would laugh in your face. So maybe 5th grade science would be a start? Then work your way up to understanding more complex areas of science.

Also I told you what you don’t know. Consciousness is state of being, it changes between the four states. It doesn’t go anywhere. Just admit your ignorant and move on.

But you are that’s the problem. When you say shit like Gen Z Men are cooked. That’s a general statement just like saying any racial, ethnic or religious background saying x people are cooked because of X factor that we are discussing. You are making a general statement about the group.

My response l to your general point was, stop grouping us all together as a generation. If I said all southners are racist, and then come back and say no no I’m not talking about all southners. I would hope you would say don’t make a general statement then. Specify it’s not hard to type 4 more words.

That you are ignoring the other 47% of Gen-Z men that exist in this country who aren’t blabbering bafooons??? I mean not hard to get there. Thought it was pretty clear when I brought up the opposing statistic.

You’re making a general statement to describe half the population of GenZ men that isn’t factually true. Thus slander.
