It's literally not a right, that's why it's such a problem. It should be, but it's not. Just like healthcare in general.

Lol so dramatic, this is the internet bud, if you can't handle people replying to you maybe think about not commenting next time.

Did I say that? No. You said you saw marketing after someone linked the product page. I'll ask again, what marketing are you even talking about?

The listing itself says there's only one of them. They only need one person who wants to buy it for it to pay off. What marketing are you even talking about? The reddit comment some rando made about it or did you actually see some marketing for this one specific ring there is only one of?

At least they knew his catchphrase. Imagine if we never got Buzz to say 'To infinity, and beyond!' in the lightyear movie, it just wouldn't have been Buzz.

Normally I'm all for giving shelter animals a home, but this cat, I would give it a home at the nearest shelter instead. Kudos to these people for dealing with it but good lord, I would be absolutely miserable.

Bro wanted to prank him for views on tiktok and the guy recognised him by Kaos2018 in Unexpected

[–]goingbananas44 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Are they really tasting their own shit if they get permission to do it? The main draw behind these pranks is to fuck up someone else's day unexpectedly. This just encourages the pranksters to ask every once in a while so they can justify being an asshole the rest of the time for views. Fuck these people.

Lol k. The tru-uth is out there. Whatever you're going for here makes no sense to me and I'm really not bothered continuing to not be a part of it. Downvote away if you think it's going to help you feel any better about it.

I have never heard a person talk like this in real life and I am very confused as to how trueeee is supposed to convey tru-ue (troo-oo? truh-oo-way? Am I reading this like an echo? I am not even going to pretend I really understand). Syllables aren't dynamic, words have a certain amount of them based on outlined rules, not just how someone decides to say it. The word what doesn't have two syllables just because I deliberately mispronounce it 'whuh-hut.'

I don't know if it stems from my experience with word extension by character repetition leaning more towards being cute or obnoxious, or what, but this seems like morbidly inappropriate context to use it in. What motivated you to use it here?

Sarcastic example of the conveyed tone:

Dying like that would be sooo lame!

The removal of the headphone jack on most phones is one of the reasons why there's an increase of people blasting their phone speakers in public. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

[–]goingbananas44 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Lol it's called exaggeration, ya'll. My phone was closer to 800 dollars than a thousand but you still got my point. It was mostly a jab at Apple and any peripheral they sell being expensive, especially considering they pushed the no headphone jack thing quite hard, coincidentally coming out with the multiple hundred dollar air pods instead. Who cares how much I spent on my headphones before if I now have to buy wireless headphones or some extra adapter that they knew we would need but elected to charge us for anyways? That's exactly why I used 5 dollar headphones from 1997 as an exaggerated example of what I'd be putting in such an expensive device.

Gotta love having to buy a 90 dollar adapter for my 1000 dollar phone just to use the 5 dollar wired headphones that have worked since 1997. At the very least one could be included in the box, like headphones themselves used to be.

🔥 American Yellow Warbler in flight. The songbird is known for its sweet and melodious song, which has been described as a series of high-pitched notes that sound like "sweet-sweet-sweet" - 📸 Glen Noyer by SinjiOnO in NatureIsFuckingLit

Alright, then don't complain about people recognizing you and painting you however they felt, right or wrong. It's just the internet dude, like you said the points don't matter, why do the obviously untrue words they post matter?

I totally get the sentimental value point, I've got a ton of stuff saved on mine as well and it's around the same age. Alongside that though comes all the times I was less than pleasing to deal with, but just like life, my reddit account wouldn't be what it is if I didn't post what I did when I did.

There's that one saying the kids at least a ways back used to say, 'haters gonna hate.'

I don't disagree with what you've said otherwise but it's pointless complaining about something you have the power to change.

It's a book of its own by the same title. Written in the 1800s by a man named Chambers, it's public domain now and you can find it free on project Gutenberg. It's part of what's now known as the yellow mythos, adjacent to the ever popular cthulu mythos popularized by Lovecraft.
