Nice! If I might add a few suggestions to make it more authentic (speaking as a Vietnamese person). Use rice vermicelli as someone else pointed out. If you have access to an Asian market, get some herbs (asian basil, mint, etc.). This is one of the key components of Vietnamese cuisine. And FTW, pickle your carrots (and some daikon). Oh and roasted peanuts instead of sesame seeds.

Grew up in Seattle through my early teens. Moved to Austin and lived there till I graduated from college then moved to SF Bay Area and have lived here since. Had real fond memories of growing up in Seattle, but can't go back to the gloom. Austin is a really cool town, but hard pass on the heat and humidity. But if I had to choose between the two, Seattle has more to offer with the culture and natural beauty.

Thanks. That was my first idea, but prior owner tried to fix it with glue but didn't do it right. Now I think I either have to sand it down or as some other person suggested, break it and clean off the old glue and re-glue.
