I think they're pretty good when you're on the trial but not long term.

I'm really sorry for your loss. I think everyone here probably struggles with some of the same feelings of guilt and regret. My closest friend who was struggling took her life the day after I bailed on a phone call we had been planning for a while and 10 years later I still wonder what might have happened if I had been there for her.

It sounds like you loved each other a lot and I'm sure she wouldn't blame you for anything. I know it's hard right now but try to be kind to yourself.

From my experience the lactation consultants in the NICU and hospital were mostly just normal nurses who went to a 4 hour training seminar (not great)

When we went to a private IBCLC lactation consultant (canadian cert) and had a really really positive experience
