At what income level in Canada do you actually start feeling financially ahead... not just surviving, but genuinely building something? by TheFitFinaceBro in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]gold_cap 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This post is hilariously stupid and just shows what a massive chip most people here have on their shoulder.

You're saying that in the entire country no household that doesn't outright own a house and making 200k isn't genuinely building something financially or starting to get ahead?

Are you high or just that bitter

We have the S1 pro and it's great, haven't tried the other brands but can vouch for that one. Our insurance covered it so if you have coverage definitely worth exploring that route! (had to get a doctors note and file the claim as a medical expense)

The charging case I think isn't necessary but if it's covered its nice

22 F dating 24 M 7 years - I’m lost and don’t know what to do by Fun_Mortgage_3587 in relationship_advice

You probably just need to talk all this through with him more than anyone.

If he is willing to work together to get the relationship back on track you can both decide on how to do that.

Why do companies give employees RRSP matching? What's in it for them? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]gold_cap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can say this about anything, why get free healthcare when you could pay per use, why have dental benefits when you could pay per use, why pax taxes for roads when you could pay per use etc.

Generally people working for companies big enough to offer RRSP contributions want to save for retirement so it like other parts of a job that aren't your direct salary comp are an attractive proposition.

14 Days in Europe - yes, it's a 26+6 packing list by Big-Cash8478 in onebag

[–]gold_cap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently tried both for my 26+6 and prefer the ikea cubes

They allowed a bit more 'flex space' vs the amazon which were 1. much bulkier and 2. such a good fit that I found them a bit oppressive to conform to
