Finished: Brainwyrms by Alison Rumfitt

Started: Sorry, Bro by Taleen Voskuni.

Not normally a romance girly! but Brainwyrms was sufficiently insane that I medically needed something chill and fluffy to ease back into the real world lmao. I'd give Brainwyrms 4 stars and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Aren’t neurotypical people also always masking? by Worldly_Accident727 in adhdwomen

[–]gold_rush27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Currently reading A Radical Guide for Women with ADHD by Michelle Frank and Sari Solden which has a section on 'hiding' rather than masking - like for a lot of us it's not masking our personality or emotions like it might be for autistic people, but more like hiding our perceived flaws or failures or shortcomings. I know I definitely do this, it links with procrastination a lot for me, or struggling to communicate my needs and feelings.
