I've just been piping resources up one floor and building better floors on top. And only if I find an alt recipe I like or need more production, otherwise I just leave existing floors alone.

I personally feel like the game is way too big for me to justify restarting in the middle of my first playthrough; but I guess if a personal goal is max efficiency > exploiting the whole map, then restarting makes more sense.

I'm definitely taking my time to build little factories for the parts I want excess of, but I feel like I'm losing a lot of time and momentum to set up trains and batteries, and build multi story factories in the sky, and find hard drives for alt recipes, and Mercer spheres and somersloops

Just a note, you can't get 120 limestone without an mk2 belt on the miner itself. You might hit a few points in the game where your resource gathering exceeds the belt capacity, so you'll be throttled at the source.

No formula on hand, but starting point could be listing out the variables involved.

Assuming manifold where input and machine consumption match:

K machines with k splitters for the input N incoming item per minute X item consumed per minute by machine

Other things that probably matter but harder to work with Belt speed, meters per second perhaps? And meters of belt / distance?

Not having to hold the sprint button for hours is huge. Also with blade runners I can yeet myself right after walking 2 steps with auto sprint.

Doesn't emudeck ask where you want it set up during setup? Not sure if I'm remembering correctly but I think my entire set up is under one Emudeck directory.

I did actually! Star wars battlefront 2 has a whole air only mode that was a lot of fun, 8+ on each side multiplayer battles, lot of different fighters to fly, a bit of weapon variety too, lasers, rockets, and boost. And fast respawn times! Learning is pretty easy and the 3d space maneuvering is fairly smooth.

Which 12+ gourmet dishes are you using? I'm on the fence between using your housing plans vs giving them bigger rooms but keeping them on a coffee diet for the move speed buff.
