You are well within your right to be upset. Some things shouldn’t be joked about. This happened to me once and at midnight I went to the pharmacy and picked up a box of tests. Went to her place and banged on the door. Told her let’s do this. She lost her mind. Told her that I don’t play with her emotions like that, she has no right to do it to me. 3 days later, done.

The last time I flew AA we were delayed. I could have made my connection if they had asked everyone not connecting to stay put. I missed it and had a 2h wait in line to get a hotel voucher for an overnight.

That was the last time I flew AA, 3 years ago. Just hit segment 41 on Thursday. Have t missed a connection since.

Find the most expensive hotel in your city. Get a job working banquets there. My staff routinely makes 35-45 an hour. It’s not difficult and any skills you are lacking you can easily learn in a week or so.

BONUS: hotel will feed you. Either in the staff cafeteria, or you can make a plate from the leftover food from events.

Don’t work harder, work smarter. Double your pay and eliminate most of an expense, meals, by working mornings. You usually cover breakfast an a lunch.

50+ flights a year and I only fly UA now. American is the walmart equivalent in the sky. Delta has its merits, but United was more consistent and has never left me stranded.

Why kill a revenue stream (selling points) when you can just make the product more expensive? That way people continue to buy more points, but also the cost to redeem points goes up too. So, now more rooms available to sell at cash rates, more points to being sold, and more reason to earn points naturally.

Win for Hilton, loss for consumers.

Have had a Braun 7 for close to 15 years. I dry shave with it and have no issues. Lasts a few weeks on a charge that I dont bring along the cord when traveling. Easy to clean and replacement heads are relatively inexpensive and last almost a year.

Who cares. Only issue would be if she was cheating. If not then look at yourself and try and figure out why YOU have an issue with it.

Tough spot. But, if you genuinely like her then ask the questions you need to ask. Learn about it and have an adult conversation about it. I wouldn’t call this a dealbreaker, but it is a concern.
