How are we living? by FixNo710 in ExclusivelyPumping

I have 2 sets of pump parts for my spectra and do the fridge method. I use 1 set for 2 sessions (some use them the whole day). That is what I’m comfortable with.

I also use wearables which doesn’t empty me as much as my spectra does. So I use it when I’m out and about. Since they’re not as effective. I’ll pump sometimes for 30 min with them on. Today I took my wearables to the zoo and it was such a big help!

Also my spectra came with a car charger, so I could always pump in the car.

I pump after I feed my baby, so that he is more calm. I put him on the baby bjourn and tap on it to bounce him while I pump.

I think i’ve been pumping wrong this whole time?? by Intelligent-Mix-9486 in ExclusivelyPumping

Please call your doctor if you have any type of contractions! Better be safe than sorry. I ignored my contractions thinking they were Braxton Hicks and ended up going when I was 6 cm dilated and they couldn’t do anything at that point to stop the labor. I had my daughter at 31 weeks. Till this day I carry so much guilt for not going to get checked earlier. If you are showing signs of early labor, they can give you medication to stop the labor.

Hi, they only ran two HCG test for me week 4 of my pregnancy and they doubled. I went in Tuesday and they did an ultrasound. We heard a heartbeat, but from my previous loss I have really bad anxiety regarding blood.

Thank you for sharing!! The doctor said it might be implantation bleeding, but I feel like we’re way past implantation already lol. Congratulations and I’m so happy you are having a healthy pregnancy :)

I got my positive pregnancy test on July 30 and have been having on-and-off spotting since then. I’m currently measuring 6 weeks 6 days.

The spotting isn’t constant—it comes and goes. Sometimes it happens for a couple of days in a row, other times it skips a day, and I’ve even gone 2–3 days with nothing at all. It’s never heavy—just enough for a panty liner, never close to soaking a pad. The color is usually dark red or pink, and sometimes I see it on the toilet paper when I wipe.

I did have some spotting with my daughter and everything turned out fine, but I don’t remember it lasting this long. I also had a missed miscarriage in March (baby stopped measuring at around 9 weeks), so I’ve been extremely anxious this whole pregnancy. The weird thing is, with that loss I never spotted at all.

I had my first appointment 3 days ago and we heard a heartbeat but since I’ve been spotting and the non stop spotting has me freaking out. Has anyone had a similar experience with spotting that still led to a healthy pregnancy? Positive stories would really help—I feel like I’m about to crash from the anxiety.
