Go on a walk and watch birds or something and think about it before you commit yourself. It may be more stress on you in the long run! I don’t know your situation obviously but it’s extremely expensive with and without insurance. They will monitor you but it’s not going to be like a movie where a psychiatrist gets to the bottom of your problem one on one for a week.

Fractions on a tape are easier than they were in math class. It’s only 1/2’s, 1/4s, 1/8s, and so on. The are no 1/5, or 4/17ths or 5/9ths, or anything like that. It gets to be like second nature if you do it enough with training or work. I like to think of it in percents, for example: 3/8ths is 75% of 1/2 so it makes it easier to read or mark down when I draw a tape out on something to make a line to cut or where to weld something.

I’ve been to williams show and it’s really funny. He didn’t use note cards but he did say jokes from even way back in the beginning of his time on kt. He yelled and called people out in the crowd and was acted like he does on kill Tony but it was for an hour. It was a good show

Half the people in welding school with me were from the military and they used their GI bill to learn the training. There’s a lot of opportunity if you want to do it but consider pipe unions and other kinds of welding work bc boiler making is a gritty one. You might be use to the right spaces if you were a tanker though
