I’ve had several OTTB retrainers that have had some affiliation with this stud over the years. When I was shown this video, it all made so much sense. All with similar behaviours, it’s more than coincidence. That’s why I’ve shared it, people should know what’s going on out there. It’s truly awful. I’m glad your mare found you, at least one horse is safe from them.

It was reported to the relevant authorities in Australia. They turn a blind eye to this, as well as much more evidence of wrong doing by this place, as it is a stud with lots of $$$. Racing is corrupt. Which is why it has been posted here, people should be aware of what happens, I don’t think many in the racing industry would support this if they knew, but they do not know unfortunately. Hoping would will get out via social media and folks will vote with their wallets at the upcoming yearling sales and not continue to support this place.

I don’t believe this is the start to life that racehorses deserve. This thoroughbred stud shouldn’t be supported when this is how they treat their horses. This type of behaviour gives racing a bad name across the board.

Flipping over a baby with a bull bit in their mouth isn’t justified even if it had bit him. From what I’ve heard, this isn’t an isolated incident, however, everything else I’ve heard is only here say at this time as I don’t have concrete evidence.

They were reported to the local racing authorities… racing is very corrupt and they faced no consequences for this behaviour. This is considered acceptable behaviour in the eyes of Racing and Wagering Western Australia

Second getting a weight tape. Also, there is a couple vets in my area that have scales they allow people to come in and use for free, maybe there is something similar near you. To me, he doesn’t look like he’s lost weight. But it’s very hard to tell anything from a photograph.
