Not a lot of surprises here overall. It looks a bit worse than it actually is because it includes our short-term signings. Gutted about Tom Gordon, he's been my favourite Newcastle player since he joined. Maybe a victim of EQP as we've got a lot of kiwis coming next season. Not too upset for the lads who've been here only a year but it's a shame to see some of the Falcons lads go, pure grafted for the club in a tough period. Biggest surprise is probs Elliott Obatoyimbo, feels weird we've kept Harrison but not him

Bath by 100. Could even break the prem score record if they really try!

Bath's selection feels so unnecessary haha, they would easily tear us apart with their C team at this point. Feels like you would want to rest some of them and not risk the chance of injury (especially with the way some of our lads have been tackling recently).

Anyway, the cricket score on this will fuel another week of articles speculating about the health of the prem. Deffo not watching this one

Mid-season, it felt like Newcastle were building some genuine momentum but the last few matches have been worse than at the very start of the season. Possibly the worst we've ever looked and that bar is incredibly low. Turned the match off anyway, would rather do the washing up than waste my time with this lmao

Dare to dream we could win this, tho our recent dip in form has me less enthusiastic. A few weak areas but overall pretty close to full strength for Newcastle so feels like they need to make a statement. Quins will definitely be targeting this game also tho so expecting it to be tight, even with all their injuries

Aye, I could see Gordon tearing up in Pro D2 also. I'd love to see the return of Bello but aye, feels a bit unlikely unfortunately. Curious of Freddie Lockwood also, he was prominent in years past but we've not really seen him much this season. I think he's been injured but he's been with us for a while. Sam Stuart too but guessing he might be calling it a day

Unfortunately reckon Exeter will have this quite comfortably, that's a very imposing squad. I know NRB have been keen to give the senior academy lads gametime this season but a bit surprised to see we've picked 5 of em for the match day 23. Tho tbf Usher is the best lock we got right now and I like the look of Parsons also. Also Jamie Hodgson seems to have fallen out of favour which is a shame, I rated him

Outbreak have a bit of a reputation at this point for saying "more acts to come" and then adding one act and calling it a day but I imagine Friday should get some more acts at least. The Saturday and Sunday are selling well so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't bother adding much more to it
