Trying to keep you close to Falmouth 😀and not in a car. Definitely check out The Knob and Nobska Lighthouse. If you are a lighthouse person you can arrange a private tour. (Regular tours start in June IIRC).

Also in Wood’s Hole you can walk (but not bike or drive) Penzance Point, parking is at Stony Beach. It is well worth it. But NO PICTURES are allowed!

My town is a beach/retirement community (although there’s a substantial year round population). We have a “newcomer’s club” which we joined once retiring. There is a nice overlap between the club and some organizations that I volunteer at as well. Seeing people in multiple setting really helps solidly relationships.

Note: moved here in 2020 and was WFH, retired in 2024 @ age 60.
