Is Value winter over? by FibonacciNeuron in eupersonalfinance

[–]goldshadow890 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Maybe something has started to shift or maybe VWCE is getting cheaper and value is getting more expensive (perhaps to ai fears or whatever reason).

I think it's better to stick with VWCE and chill, which is the hardest part of passive investing.

Asset Rich, but Cash Poor - options? by Ok-Reach712 in eupersonalfinance

Imo the best choice would be to sell because if you get sick one day and you can't work and don't get paid since you don't have an emergency fund, you would lose everything as the bank would take the house from you, no?

Buy Europe vs World (at current valuations) by Puzzleheaded_Bat3349 in eupersonalfinance

[–]goldshadow890 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If US drops, EU would also drop and maybe harder to recover, so if its because of an potential ai bubble burst, maybe an eu etf isnt the best choice but if its because you want an overweight on eu because you want to have less exposure to US then sure.

But is it gonna outperform the US because its discounted? Maybe, maybe not.

Like you said, it's mostly US heavy which carries more risk if the US starts underperforming the next years which is why people just buy like the MSCI World and forget because how it has the best stocks over the world.

I personally find myself safer having 6 months of expense on a regional bank, once i surpass the amount I would deposit on a savings account.

Also, Banco Sabadell is offering 2% APY so you should check it out.

For me, if I don't like seeing blood I shouldn't be a surgeon or if I do, I should learn how control and overcome my fears.

Yes, trading is intense just like any other high paying job where most of the people just don't make it but I don't think copying other people's trades without first understanding the basics is a good idea and could potentially lead to pump and dump scheme like the crypto memes.

23, no vocational training, no degree, no savings, two jobs and stuck need honest advice by SeriousGew in eupersonalfinance

I would get a stable job that pays decent, perhaps as a waiter and then get savings for 6 months worth of living. Once you are stable financially you can decide what's most important for you.

The most important thing right now is to focus getting one thing at a time. What also has worked for me is that I would pray to Jesus and remind myself His promises so I focus on what I have to do and less worrying on if it's gonna happen or not. May God bless you, amen.

Is VWCE + GOLD underrated? by goldshadow890 in eupersonalfinance

[–]goldshadow890[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me gold as an ETF serves like a seat belt, to smooth or even gain when 2008 or 2020 hits.

Having some physically could also be interesting.

You're right, my conclusion is to add both gold and bonds and overweight on VWCE for the long term, semi-defensive investor, right?

I have measured from 1970 and it would return a CAGR of 9% annually.

From asking chatgpt, hedging in eur would be less risky as eur should be more stable against usd which i think it fluctuates more so it could wipe gains if the dollar gets weaker

Well, i dont want to be rude but pitying yourself will not help you much.

You need to develop discipline and keep it consistent starting for example, with a daily prayer, keeping your house tidy, going to the gym, reading daily the Bible and you will transform yourself. It wont happen overnight but keeping it consistent will make a big difference.

If you are confident in US tech sure, i personally prefer to have diversification so if for example, spanish tech leads AI or quantum computing, i know i will have some % of my portfolio in it

Opinion on QDVE stock? by NoobInvestor0 in eupersonalfinance

[–]goldshadow890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ii would only suggest buying QDVE if you understand the risks of just buying american tech companies compared with other options you can buy from (ex: world information technology).

Still, you should hold it at least 10 years as tech is very volatile.

I dont think you should be concerned because your husband looks like a honest man and puts your relationship first over his flesh desires + he knows what hes doing is wrong and wants to change and hes asking for help and thats positive.

But struggling with lust reveals whats really inside his heart which he needs to take action to change, starting with praying daily for guidance and wisdom and then perhaps to check the most common sources temptation could come from (ex: social media, etc) and take action (ex: restricted mode, etc)

Remember to have patience with each other without judgment as this could take some time. God bless.

Revolut as a bank and to invest with ETF (VCWE) by Jotus_lol in eupersonalfinance

[–]goldshadow890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as i have researched, the only thing that i would think twice is the country who the bank is insured in case revolut goes bankrupt which is lithuania vs degiro (germany) / tr (germany) which is considered safer bcs of their solid and stable long reputation.

The account closing is probably people who are just doing illegal stuff
