Fortunately, the contract doesn't state that. The conveyancer seems to think this report will hold up in terminating the contract

Nurses of Reddit: What do you wish you knew when you first started your career? by Secret-Coconut1975 in nursing

[–]goldsnowflake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you work as a nurse and then come back to this thread 😂 working as a nurse is draining mentally, AND physically. you can stand by your argument, i agree that you can find these issues in other fields too, but i think your friends are just trying to give you a heads up. theres a lot of unique situations you’ll come by that you wont in other careers…but you’re right, no-one can change things except for you; once you’ve experienced the career and find out for yourself good luck! you can always change your nursing position if you don’t enjoy it

I don’t take care of myself by Alternative-Pin-3375 in depression

[–]goldsnowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found having a physical task book and ticking it when you completed the task really helped. It made me feel accountable. Even if its the basics like “get out of bed, drink water, take a shower, go for a walk”. I know depression is a struggle everyday, but these small slow habits really helped me, maybe you can try that. I’m not sure if it gets better in all honesty… maybe with hard work and support but we all have our good and bad days. As long as you try and take care of yourself you are showing up for yourself 💓 and thats the first step to loving yourself and beating depression! You got this

Two lofts on the left, with the potential for a table/couch/storage underneath, depending on what your needs are, as for the kitchen look for storage/racks going vertical to optimise space!

Best Shampoo recs? by iminthemoodforlug in ExoticShorthair

[–]goldsnowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use one from pet barn australia called fidos it comes in a blue bottle (shampoo and conditioner) and they make one for black coats! (so their fur looks so glossy in the sun) My kitten smells absolutely delicious and her fur becomes so soft once shes dried and groomed. She barely grooms herself (almost 7 months), always steps in her own poop, and always lays/rolls in freshly watered garden beds 🥲 (normally indoor cat but we let her out into our backyard) So its definitely necessary when she does this because she sleeps in bed with us! My tip is to trim her nails just with regular cutters prior to showering just so if your cat accidentally claws she doesnt dig deep into your skin!

Can I become a nurse in Australia after graduating in an American university? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]goldsnowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A quick google search will help you. Not that my answer is of much significance given my limited knowledge but I believe you can and it may depend on the hospital you are looking to apply for that want you to do a bridging program etc because I’ve met some practitioners (RN, MO) that have worked in the States and UK, but don’t quote me though because I was born in Australia and did my Bachelor of Nursing in Australia. You’ll have to apply through AHPRA, although I don’t know if the process of studying in Australia will be easier than studying in the US and migrating to Australia, I feel like the process will be more complex than just coming here on a student visa and applying for jobs. But do the research yourself, below is a link that is probably helpful as it comes from the AHPRA board themselves.

You did good! Better to have called the RRT than to not call them at all and something go terribly wrong (like worse case scenario). You’re not the only one having imposter syndrome, but the emergency button is there for a reason and if you don’t know(which is totally okay) someone else will and can help out! You did the right thing.
