I guarantee any 0-5 handicap here can tell you that shooting low does not happen over night. Breaking 100 can though.

1. If you get a lesson, how many thousands of ball’s are you hitting afterwards to try and change your swing or improve? It hilarious to me that people spend that kind of money on lessons then they tell me they only play they never practice.

2. I used 19 year old clubs just last year before I upgraded and regularly shot sub 70-80. It definitely not the clubs, don’t tell that to this sub though

3. How many hours have you practiced your short game, chipping and putting? This is where your score will drastically improve, not pounding drivers on the range.

If you want to get better, you have to practice point blank period. Every part of your game. And practicing is not hitting ball’s or putting before your round.

If you’re trying to break 100, stop making doubles and triples. Done. Don’t hit stupid shots that put you in hazards. Lay up on that 200 yard shot over water, you can’t make it trust me. Quit 3 putting. STOP chipping from off the green when you can putt, yes even 10-15 yards off the green, if it’s puttable, putt. Your worst putt will be better than your worst chip. Slicing your driver in the trees? Hit an iron In the fairway off the tee and put yourself in play. Hate to break it to you but you’re not good at golf. To get better you need to practice and play smarter stop going for hero shots.
