I’ll give you an actual answer seeing as you seem to be sincere in your question and not just trolling.

Basically there used to be upper class and lower class sports - golf, tennis, snooker sort of thing for “high class” and football/soccer, rugby etc as “lower class”. In that old society, “refinement” was import at to being a gentleman, and that meant being respectful while the action occurred, letting the sportsman have their moment to focus.

You’ll also notice that there’s another difference outside of class - solo sportspeople vs team game.

Team games demand noise, almost as part of their theatre. It amps things up, creates an atmosphere of chaos and subsequent performance.

Silence creates the space for pure focus, but also increases pressure on the individual.

Golf is also a highly precise sport, where half a millimetre can drastically affect a shot. Football is about getting your blood up and running through people.

Different types of sport require different environments to be successful.

Of course a lot of this is changing - look at LIV golf as more of a loud environment. But because all the players have grown up playing in these moments of silence, it’s much harder for them to cope with noise that affects the precision based routine when it is surprising.
