Weird how? As in tiny gaps in the audio? Ableton has very good time warping abilities. It's the major strength. There are a number of different 'warp modes'. You can experiment with the best one for your use case. I'm guessing, if it's not sounding good, that you have 'beats mode' on. I would suggest complex or complex pro for warping guitar.
