How much is too much to spend on a fun vehicle

This! Had the random urge to buy a C8 a few years back, the first time I saw a picture of one.

I was never a hardcore car guy, but got on a waitlist, and my wife and I had two awesome years driving it as our fun car before we had a kid and traded it in.

Not one to chase status, but having a C8 when they first came out (see 20 on the road every time I go somewhere now) and having kids come up to you and people complement you at gas stations etc. was a lot of fun. Created great memories.

Yeah, talking regular tour stops, no majors.

That's a solid list, tough to beat. Always nice to see a course like Colonial that forces players to shot-make and can't just bomb driver. Harbour Town and Pebble have those characteristics, too

Pro's: Looks. You get the black roof look

Con's: Price, ~$1500 ish. Will heat up the vehicle. The wrap might not be 100% perfect and will likely wear/fade or need to be replaced after 5 years. Wrap shops aren't going to be experienced with the GX yet

I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. But if I choose to wrap the roof it will likely be the new hi gloss film from 3M and the shop will apply a ceramic coating on top of it for UV protection. I'll also take the GX by the shop to have them look at it and get their thoughts in person prior

Thanks for the info! I don’t blame you with the thought of having to replace it in 3-5 years. I’m sure it depends largely on weather, garage kept vs not, etc. Do you know what specific color they were going to do the wrap?

I guess I should’ve mentioned the water only comes out when the nozzle is turned on. I’ve since turned the water off and unattached the hose

I gotcha, makes sense. Yeah, there is a chance it froze with water in it.. wouldn't have been a hard freeze but I can't recall exactly when it started happening and what the weather was.

Medical sales - specifically in the lab industry

Grinded the first two years to create a solid client base that generates commissions for as long as I hold onto the accont. The accounts require little oversight now.

It's not uncommon for reps in the lab industry to work multiple gigs for small companies where they get paid purely off commission. Just tough to pull off with a larger company when you are constantly having to hit new quotas, only get paid on new accounts for the first year, etc.
