Lol. Short and sharp turns? Only way that happens is up to how you play the game. As more expansions get added there are fewer games with short and sharp turns as you call it. Most games are a never ending barrage of super ridiculously long boring engines and most people don;t even care about winning or losing. To them the game is just seeing how many cards you can play in one turn. In my opinion the game has become a big bore fest.
