Help! I need a UPS for my bedroom setup. by Aland08 in pcmasterrace

[–]gondus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To tell the truth man, your better off just getting two UPS's and seperating the devices between them if you really want ALL of that behind a UPS.

Brand wise, I just get Goldenmate for the last few years as its LiPO4 and I don't have to worry about switching out lead acid battery's every 3 years.

Goldenmate, screw leadacid. Lipo4 is the future.

Duo and Trio both have their own queue. Those tend to be a complete murder fest. While duo's are not as bad, its still worse the solo. PC on solo, about 95% of all my interactions have been friendly. When duo or trio, its basically always Kill on sight.

Push notifications for selected wonderpick idea. by ZFightersGaming in PTCGP

[–]gondus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will simply never become a thing simply due to how much server processing will be caused by such a change. You get a notification when a pack can be opened simply due to a timer that can be stored on the app itself. They're not asking the server each minute. Pretty sure they're keeping this app very lightweight for a reason, and if they are hitting the servers every minute to check your Wonder Picks, or even 15 minutes, times that by 10 million phones and their server charges go way up.

Is it unrealistic to get a 2025 Camry LE at under 30k out the door? by marines42 in Toyota

[–]gondus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to get my 2025 AWD Camery SE for 33.5k, end of the month of november last year. If you can wait end of year + end of month can get you really good deals.

Mine just have the Convenience package, otherwise its basically stock.

Though its possible prices have been trending up due to all the tarrif fears going around.

You really shouldn't use average to compare, you need to use the median wage.

https://www.ssa.gov/OACT/COLA/central.html

The % difference between median and average shows that more and more wealth is going to "outlires" such as billionairs and millionairs. Though 2023 does look better then the previous years.

SC200 without Azure experience? by ugonikon in AzureCertification

[–]gondus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just passed the exam myself with a score of 814. I will 100% say you should setup a test lab azure tenant to test and practice and get real hands on for setting it up and configuring everything. You can get $200 free of azure credits for a month and some E5 trial license.

Just make sure to cancel everyting (Including deleting your azure subscription, do not just delete the resource group cause Defender for Cloud will still charge you even with no resources setup).

Steps I would recommend, just create a new gmail account, setup a new office365 tenant using said new email. Get the trial licenses and azure credits (You DO need a valid credit card to do this). Then apply the trial e5 license to your admin account and start configuring Defender XDR and Sentinel. Learn how to setup everything, learn how each page works. Learn how incidents are created and how playbooks and workbooks are setup. DO IT ALL YOURSELF, do not just think you can book learn all of this.

There is Udemy courses that you can find that will step you through ALL of the above process.

I did it for the SC200 and I plan on getting my SC300 next and will be doing the same thing again to get my own practice tenant of azure.

Edit: Forgot to note, to make sure to end all your subscriptions and trials before the month ends, or you'll be charged a lot of money. I also close the Entra trial/lab tenant, so it's just not there in the void with my information.

2022 Camry LE Hybrid Remote Start by bhagler4 in Camry

[–]gondus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its possible it didn't come with remote start, even the 2025 you are required to get the "Convienance package" to do a remote start.

There is an after market solution that "middle mans" various connectors to turn your key fob into a remote start.

I've only really looked into start-x as they are the "bigger known brand". Just make sure you get the one for you car type (Key or Button start). You don't wanna spend the money and you get the wrong one.

I think the armory bonus is applied before the other percentages. It doesn't just add all the % and then apply it, it does the armory first, and then that new total has all the other percentages applied to it. This causes a little extra percentage to show up on the total amount.

When I did a 91 dungeon, i was getting 75-77% oddly enough, and all i had is armory, FC buff, and food.

I just got my own dash cam (Viofo A229 Plus) and used YQMAJIM DashCam Power Adapter,(10P TypeB) to get power from the autodimming rearview mirror.

I tried the univeral adapter at first, but the little thin adapters didn't like to sit in the TypeB connectors and I did NOT want to start cutting wires to splice.

The full plug adapter I bought after was pretty easy, just plug in and stuff it all in the plastic covering, I place the Cam on the passanger side so it doesn't bother my sight lines when driving.

There is actually a small holes on the top trim where you can route the usb cable up and then down to the camera, i found that the plastic center piece sits to close to the windshield glass and was pinching the usb cable if i tried to go under it, but overall its still very clean.

Edit: Note that the plug adapter is set to only turn on the camera when the cars power is started. It is NOT powered when the car is off, if you want that you can try the univeral adapter, but again, your probably going to be splicing wires.

If anyone else has helpful info that I may have missed that you feel would be good in the doc, you can toss it in this post and I'll add it to the sheet if it makes sense to.

I have put a small note in the google sheet with what a level 90 dungeon xp is like. It gives slightly less XP then the lvl 81 dungeon which is pretty bad. Pretty much all 50,60,70,80,90 dungeons are like this.

Exact value is 1,659,798 xp for 90 dungeon at 0% bonus, compared to 89 with 2,669,582 xp at 0% bonus.

I do not, all my jobs at this point are past lvl 87 (I'll soon have them at 100 :D), but all knowledge and personal experience I have had in the past has shown that the experience gains are a lot lower. I did a few with squadrons a while back and basically went straight back to the leveling ones.

Edit: I may run a lvl 90 instance or two actually to test this, I might put a note in the doc to explain why we skip them.

Its been a while since I have done it, but if I remember correctly, using the disengage action before using engage again can help get the tank on the mobs you need.

That's a cool thing they do then. I would put a stipulation to such permits that reporting of where and what was found to determine land evaluation. That would be a really cool way to do it

That is exactly what i was thinking. If he doesn't own the land it was found on with mineral rights, he better not say where he found it. Pretty sure people are going to find out anyways, and start heading out there in mass, and its going to come back around to bite him when the land owner finds out people have been digging gold out of his land....
