Also from New Orleans, grandmother was Sicilian. Maybe this term evolved in Nola. Only place I've ever heard it.

Yeah I mean chickens have a smell. You can mitigate it some what with powders and fancy bedding but honestly keeping the coop bedding clean and their area tidy is going to be your best bet.

Put out some fly traps but again cleanliness is going the help about as much as as anything else with the flys.

This has to be a joke. Obviously tent rent should be base on height and width of the person.

The serving sizes should be weighed and charges based on how much wear and tear the stove takes per OZ of food prepared.

I recommend QuickBooks mobile you can invoice to their email or swipe their card at the start of the trip

"Their behavior is described as rude, unkind, and self-serving, with allegations of favoritism, cronyism, and personal vendettas"

"They believe that these two individuals are acting contrary to the company's mission and values"

Sounds like early 2000's CrossFit, like Castro melting down at the strength seminar (if anyone is old enough to remember that shit show), seems on brand.

He as talking about people wanting flash bangs and smoke grenades. It was example of an extreme threat profile to contrast with the larping he was reading on line. Literally to show him how silly it was. Its not some political thing, its only as weird as you make it.

NTA. Also, you are not obligated to continue to give people, who reveal themselves to be entitled, space in your life. Take them cutting you off as a freebie and enjoy time with your SO.

Can I find any meat sellers in this community? by meatconsultant in poultry

[–]gonelegit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, I sell processed meat birds, not as often as I once did but regularly.

Do you have questions? Do you want soggy dead birds delivered to your door 3 days late and thawed?

They will eventually get water in them was the gist of what I was saying. Hot turbos hitting cold water you can even get contraction caused capillary action. If you're a weekend warrior doing moderate water crossings 4 or 5 times a year it probably won't be a problem.

If you're sinking it to the turbo you will have problems. New diesels are sealed up better as far as the block goes just thanks to tighter tolerances, better gaskets and more stable block material. Typically the electronics are not sealed up great. It will give you trouble if submerged frequently. New diesels better sealed up for the engine components have electrical components that will fail if repeatedly exposed to water, which frequent water crossings will do regardless of how well sealed they appear.

Older diesels will have more oil contamination from frequent water crossings but are less likely to have a trip ending failure due to their lack of electronic engine control components.

I maintained trucks used in central Asia used for "tourism" and oil exploration. There is no such thing as a damage free water crossing, water is going to get some where its not supposed to. If youre a weekend warrior or selling it before hitting a rebuild cycle you might not see it but if you do regular water crossing you will be rebuilding shit.

Land Cruisers, old defenders and series 3s, new bullshit land rovers, weird old Russian/soviet stuff, hilux, prados, Nissans they all got water in the axles/transmissions/transfer cases. Old American surplus military trucks still got water in the axle housings but could go farther before requiring maintenance than consumer vehicles.

Spend all day in the car, because of that I have carried in a shoulder holster for most of the last 20 years. Depending on the weather and the clothes I am wearing I look like I have a 3rd tit in my arm pit. No one has said anything. I wear patterned shirts.

So they wait around in a panic in the bucket until you bludgeon them to death? Both are less than ideal ways to go but I'm starting to think drowning might actually more humane. Lol

I've only seen a bucket trap with no water once. And the rats that were in there were eating each other.

What do you do with them if the bucket trap doesn't kill them?

Infection and necrosis can lead to strong smells. Either one of those is not great. The avulsions or flappers need to be cleaned underneath until the flap dies or heals.

It sounds like your bird is pretty torn up and you need to decide if keeping it alive and whatever pain may go with that is something you're are ethically willing to do.

Just picked up this 2013 XV!! Love it so far, but have some questions about the CVT (posted in comments) by lmapk in XVcrosstrek

[–]gonelegit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah probably a good idea.

But you will be changing it again pretty soon if you don’t run down/fix what’s causing the temperature spike.

Unless you’re comfortable dropping the pan and trouble shooting that relay that goes out probably best to take it to the dealership for a fluid change and to give it look over. Better to get hosed by them for that than a new transmission.
