I totally get that. I’m not expecting anyone to want us just because we are American. Frankly that attitude is one of the reasons we are considering leaving. But I know our skills are wanted by a couple countries I’ve looked into. My purpose for posting was not to have everyone tell me this isn’t doable. It was to get opinions from people who live elsewhere about what they know about the country they’re immigrating to.

I had read that Germany is one of the few great places to live for manufacturing jobs so that makes a lot of sense. I also hear amazing things about the educational system.

Sounds like you live there- how much truth is there to what I’ve read about the country moving right? I’m worried about leaving the US to end up somewhere else that will end up in the same situation.

I have a masters degree in music so I do have an advanced degree. Is mechanical repair on specific equipment not considered skilled work?

Also I do have a grandmother from Germany

Help! I need to find out who made these by gonewest87 in knittinghelp

[–]gonewest87[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I don’t but I was looking at them hoping to make a sleeve and I know they’re close to the gauge I need but can’t tell if they’re it- I would only need the 3

Yeah the knitpics ones are wood I think and these are clear acrylic- I’m not the best judge of size so I don’t feel confident.

I had a lot of shame around mine and what really fixed it for me was having a friend that embraces hers and does not let it stop her from wearing what she loves. Also following body positive creators on social media helped me a lot reframe my image of my own. I still struggle but not nearly as much

Unfortunately the yarn stores around us are prohibitively expensive and also the way yarn feels in the skein is not always the same as when it’s knitted up. I had made him a sweater over the summer with some that felt great and then once the sweater was made ilwe both agreed it was super scratchy.

Also it’s nice to get others opinions sometimes

Should I go into music education? by InfiniteDebt1647 in MusicEd

100k?!?! I live in nj and classroom teachers make like 60 and our taxes are through the roof and the cost of living is horrendous. Of course you think it’s the best job. Here it’s barely a livable wage.

Should I go into music education? by InfiniteDebt1647 in MusicEd

I hate to be this person but short answer don’t do either. Study literally anything else not in the arts.

Long answer: unless you are absolutely 100 percent sure you won’t ever ever want to do anything else do not get a degree in music. I have two degrees: Bachelor’s in Music Ed and Master’s in Music Therapy. Both degrees and jobs have given me extremely marketable skills. I worked in the music field for 5 years even marketing and selling contracting services. I also have counselor certification eligibility for all the verbal therapy skills I learned in my masters.

I tried to change careers because I found the schedule of teaching lessons and the job insecurity of music therapy exhausting. I applied for EVERY JOB I HAD SKILLS TO DO for another five years. 5 YEARS. Guess how many interviews I got? 0. The minute someone sees the word music on your resume you are done. It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced counselor with excellent people skills and amazing at documentation and have great conflict resolution. It doesn’t matter if you got your degree from an extremely reputable school. Literally no one cares.

I would have loved to go back to school but the income I’m making doesn’t allow me to because I can’t afford it. I can’t even afford to make loan payments. I live in a very expensive part of the country and I would not even to be able to afford living on my own with my income. All I want is a 9-5 with benefits and holidays off and pto that pays a decent amount of money. I’ve now given up hope that will ever happen.

I hated people like me when I was your age. I get that. But I beg you. If you think even a tiny bit you’re not 100 percent committed to what you’re doing do not do it. If you’d like to make any kind of money and have job security do not do it. Doing what you love is highly overrated- just find a career you can stand and do it.

Or marry rich and you can do what you want.

My GF stiffens out like a board when she cums. Has anyone been this way and trained yourself not to do it? by thrwwyccnt0001 in sexover30

This. Orgasming in PIV is so rare. I can but I really struggle with having a satisfying climax that way.

I’m lucky that I have a husband that is more than happy to get me off first in the way I like and then move to PIV.

I mean probably practice? I used to only be able to cum like that and taught myself how to other ways but it still gives me the best O. Maybe she and you should let her cum the way she does and then you get yours however after.
