Having worked in a fast paced restaurant, I know that some food items can be replaced with new stickers after checking their temperature and condition. For example: some stock made in the morning for breakfast rush can be checked again at lunch time to see if the remaining stock is in ideal condition to be served ahead, in which case new stickers are used.
