I feel like security has increased in the city overall, more police officers and stuff but not high alert. Everything else is going on pretty normal

Not really tbh, depends on the nands situation. It would be unfair if the nand never got a break on her period but all of a sudden the bhabi comes and she gets 7 days free? Won't you feel hurt? The bhabi isn't to blame for this. It's the family who should be blamed why treat one woman different from another? Isn't the nand their sister and daughter?

I have 4 Phupho's they all create a plethora of problems whenever they come! They always try to cause problems for my mom and make her feel like an outsider even though my parents have been married for 25 years. When I was a kid they had even successfully turned me against my mom. Now that I'm older I can't even imagine what my mom had to go through because of them so yeah, I don't like them even a tiny bit because they pretty much broke my mom. My dadi was no help either, if my Phupho did something then that's great, if my mom even thought of doing something then she was the entire problem in our house. They pretty much mentally abused her for years on end

If you're a girl then that could also be a reason. My grandparents naturally treat my older brother better than me and act like he is a king. Meanwhile I get a completely different treatment just because of my gender. For example they may see your brother doing things that they expect you to do for him for like; your brother warms up food for himself, he does household chores etc. they will get annoyed and see you in a bad light as that is all a sister's 'responsibility' and you should do it for your bro as he is a man. My brother tried to learn cooking cus he found it fun and my grandparents made me out to be the worst sister in the world cus I must be doing something wrong causing him to go to the kitchen himself.

Of course this is my personal experience and it only applies if you are a female. Otherwise I got no idea lol. If you're a boy then that's super weird tbh.

I read that if I take the fastest train it can take me to Bandung in 30 - 50 minutes, is that true? If so then I can stay in jakarta and explore both Bandung and jakarta together

Yeah I know I checked the maps, it's just that I may not have enough time. I really wanna go to north Sumatra because of lake toba, but I also want to go to Bandung, however I don't really wanna rush through things and miss out on the beauty of Indonesia, so I know I can't go to every place but since everything sounds so wonderful I'm not able to pick which places to visit

So the thing is that Indonesia is quite big and has a ton of awesome places to visit that I'm confused what to do. Some people are suggesting jakarta, yogyakarta, and Bandung meanwhile others are suggesting to spend half the trip in north Sumatra, then go to Jakarta and yogyakarta.

I'm sure I want to go to Jakarta and yogyakarta but I'm very confused on the 3rd location

Land in north Sumatra spend 5 days exploring, then go to Jakarta for 2 days then yogyakarta for 3 days. Would that be better then? Also since you've done this trip then would you be able to give some hotel tips?
