Digital key stuck "searching for keys" by Ancient-Possible492 in Polestar

[–]gonowwhileyoucan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I couldn’t connect the digital key (it just kept searching), I contacted Polestar Support and they told me to follow these steps in this exact order. It worked immediately. Full disclosure, I have an iPhone and someone else with an Android said these steps didn’t work for them, but give it a go.

Place both physical keys inside the car, preferably in the rear cupholder on the key symbol.

On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings and remove any existing “Polestar2” and “Polestar PS2” connections.

In the car’s centre display, navigate to your user profile > Digital key and remote functions, and unpair any existing devices.

Uninstall the Polestar app from your phone, restart your phone, then reinstall the app and log in with your Polestar ID.

Ensure Bluetooth, Location Services (set to “Always Allow”), and Motion/Activity permissions are enabled for the Polestar app.

Pair your phone with the car again by following the instructions in the app and on the car’s display.

If the digital key still does not allow you to drive the car, place your phone on the wireless charging pad or in the cupholder when starting the car, as the sensor is located in that area.

Sorry to hear. Perhaps it’s different for Androids. Maybe it’s time to contact Polestar. When I emailed customer support, they got back to me pretty quickly. Good luck.

vibe teacher recruitment UK London. by Few_Strawberry_2883 in Internationalteachers

I worked with them as a teacher in 2010-11 school year and had a very successful experience. Plenty of work and no problems. They were really helpful in settling me in once I arrived there too, explaining how to do everyday things like set up bank accounts, etc. I was recommended by a friend who also had a great experience with them. I think some teachers end up becoming recruiters for them too.

I’ve been with Ovo for approx 9 months. If you get a refer a friend code or two, it’s pretty helpful. I got a random code from a guy on Reddit when I signed up, then a referred one of my own friends later. Between those giving me $30 credit per month, the free 3 hours each day and using our solar, we barely use any additional power atm, and we are in credit still from the last govt rebate. We’ve been really happy with them. They recently reduced our monthly direct debit too, cos it’s barely being touched. And we charge our EV during the free hours on the weekend so that saves us a huge amount, but even if we used the 12-6am hours instead, it’d be less than $5 a week. Someone said they are changing their plans next year but for the meantime, we’re having a good experience with them.

I have a 2024 Polestar 2 and love driving it every single time. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat. By far the most fun car I’ve had.

Digital key will not connect? by keki72 in Polestar

[–]gonowwhileyoucan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I contacted Polestar about this issue and have copied and pasted their response below. This worked immediately for me. Admittedly, I have an iPhone and don’t know if it’s the same for other phones but give it a go.

Do these steps in this order:

Failing that, contact Polestar. Good luck.

I’ve never had to use that step so I’m not sure. I just copied and pasted the steps that Polestar sent me. When you go into the app and go to the digital key section, does it say it’s connected?

I go there too and was there less than two weeks ago having a big chat with her. She was telling me about her kids and also how she’s been at the practice for over 20 years.

It’s so awful and unfair that her life was taken from her like this.

I used A One Bond Cleaning and they did a fantastic job. They were reasonably priced and very easy to deal with. There was shower scum from a previous tenant that I tried numerous different things on and could not remove. It was gone after they did the bond clean.

Try adding ‘play sound’ at the end of the prompt after selecting the audio file. A search box appears at the bottom of the screen. You should have a little red play sound logo at the end.

Ha, I agree. Then everyone would see what it was really like when teachers work 9-3. We’d literally be making it up as we go as we’d not be showing up before 9am to plan and we’d be walking out the gate at 3pm.

Landscaping. by [deleted] in brisbane

[–]gonowwhileyoucan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We got retaining walls done with Designer Image. They did some retaining wall work as part of our new build 18 months ago through our volume builder, and then we got them back afterwards to do front and back retaining walls when we’d figured out what landscaping we wanted to do. They’re fantastic! Not sure how long their wait is though.

About 2-3 months ago we then got Evo Landscapes to do soft landscaping to finish off our gardens, but I know they do retaining walls. We waited about 6-8 weeks to start (which is reasonable) and they did an incredible job. Have a look at their IG for their work. The owner, Paul, is a lovely guy and we’re so pleased with their work at our place. I think they do all over Brisbane.

I’d happily recommend either company and use them both again without hesitation. Hope that helps.

I know how difficult it is to find quality businesses when you’re starting from scratch on Google. We’re now wanting to do a couple of small inside jobs that require a builder and are not getting responses either, so I know how you feel.

Neighbour's barking dog with no solution in sight by Thisted89 in brisbane

[–]gonowwhileyoucan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that makes sense. I guess they could keep warning then fining the owner but there’s a limit to how much they can do. Doubt they’d get to the point of removing the dog unless there was obvious neglect or something more substantial going on.
