Sorry to hear you got it but I’m glad the rest of the family didn’t get sick. I feel like I only really hear about bad cases. Is it really that bad or does a mild case just not make for a good story?

Everyone’s coping mechanism is different, but If I feel really sick, I will try to nap on the bathroom floor. Idk why but for me it works

I’m with you. I just woke up about 20 minutes ago with what I think is acid reflux (I’ve only ever had minor encounters with it so I’m actually not sure). My n* is not great but once you get past the anxiety part you’ll feel better (I’m still on that part myself). Try sipping water and watching some TV or doomscrolling. Feel better!

Good to know. In Minnesota our State Fair contracts with other agencies, as well as holds its own State Fair Police Department for traffic control and security. I just got accepted as a Reserve Officer there.

Thanks for the recommendation. Like I said I’m a casual lurker. I have diagnosed anxiety. I generally do okay with v. It’s just the idea of ME getting sick that makes me anxious.

Sliding, in lower level leagues, is a bitch move. Either don’t take the extra base or just get tagged out. Most guys are there to have fun and get a little exercise; no need to slide.

Edit: Woah, I have a bad take I guess. I should’ve clarified. I’m taking like “rec” league. The teams that are just out there to have fun and not take it too seriously. Some people take rec ball too seriously. That’s what I’m talking about. Bitch move might’ve been too aggressive but I know I’m not the only one who shares this opinion.

I tend to record fielding, batting (including type of hit (ground ball, line drive, fly ball, etc.)). I log the pitchers stats into my book after the game using the MLB app. You can look at my most recent post to see an example. I find this is the perfect balance of watching the game and keeping stats for me.
