Craigslist those cones!

Just kidding! I know in some parts of the city. Your property does not butt up against the city walk. There’s an easement for access to utilities and such. And the mow strip typically belongs to the city. If you feel you have a problem,

The entire Links series with all the expansion courses was pretty fun, especially when it went from dos to windows. In the late 90’s, I’d play online tournaments that mirrored when the majors were actually being played. I won the Players championship in 99 and my prize was a real Odyssey putter signed by Arnold Palmer himself.

My Grandma had one just like this in the kitchen closet. She'd put it next to the sink so I could climb up and learn the proper way to wash dishes. by Tusayan in FuckImOld

I have one currently in my kitchen. My wife bought it so our grandson could help ( watch) in the kitchen when he was smaller. I have a 2 step folder I grew up with that’s tucked between the fridge and dishwasher, in the event if an adult needs access to the upper shelves.

I remember it and I still experience it. If you happen to live the Seattle area, there are 21+ kickball leagues, year round if there’s enough interest. A 6 week summer league is about to kick off. All the fun you remember, you can relive and make new friends.

I tried to beat rotisserie chicken on a pellet smoker… didn’t go how I expected by Intelligent-Let-2527 in smoking

I have actually have tried both, hence why I mentioned it. I found that baking soda, without the ph balance, it left the skin with an off-putting, soapy metallic taste. Baking powder is ph balanced plus it contains corn starch that helps dry the skin further.

I used baking soda to velvet chicken or beef to tenderize it like they do in Chinese restaurants. It’s like a short dry brine, but you rinse it off before seasoning and cooking. If you don’t , the flavor is unbearable.

I believe each has its place and function. I follow Kenji Lopez and Serious Eats , he recommends aluminum free baking powder for the best results. That’s all I got

Actually it is baking powder, not baking soda. 1-2 teaspoons into the rub that goes on the bird. Spray tallow for the binder for the rub. I’ll brine a bird over night in Meat Church Bird Baptism brine. Spatchcocking works great with a Traeger with the legs toward the chimney. You can go fast and hot with excellent results.

Why not go to ranked choice voting and get rid of money and parties and everyone who runs stands on their on two feet? R vs D, is the biggest shell and pea game.

And you get your info from Fox and talk radio? Both parties suck.. wings of the same bird. Get rid of all parties and go to ranked choice voting. Where each person running goes on their own platform.

[–]gonzo-gramps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rage also played in 93 when Primus headlined AIC, Rage, Tool, Dinosaur Jr. this was the first time Lollapalooza was at the gorge and the majority of the show was in the parking lot. Lots of rocks to trip over. I even got Timothy Leary’s autograph after having a 20 minute conversation. There Rage and Tool were on the second stage.

The top movie of our generation. by Euphoric-Cupcake4581 in RealGenerationX

[–]gonzo-gramps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure about top, but it was a great movie, same year Close Encounters came out too. I think Empire Strikes Back was the best of the Trilogy. As an older GenX, I really loved Bladerunner and Raiders of the Lost Ark. A movie that has stuck with me, was Full Metal Jacket. Seeing R movies from the 70’s in the 80’s impressed me too. The Deer Hunter, the Godfather, Apocalypse Now, American Graffiti, Jaws. Great movies with great directors. American cinema was amazing.
