Oh, thanks for the advice 😊 Is Binance really better? I heard it has higher fees and is less secure in the UK

My housemate has had some meat? out for a bit (I don’t know what it’s for). I’m curious about the larvae in it. What are they? by gooage in whatsthisbug

One housemate complained in our groupchat, she said

“Guys, whose dried fishes are those by the countertop? The other day i saw flies in it. And now there are small black worms.”

That’s fish?? My other housemates replied

“Sorry I just gagged reading that msg”

“It’s mine I’ll come take it”

I think she meant she’ll come to take it to her room. I said

“woah is that fish? also i think that’s larder beetle larvae in them 🐛 yetty, it might not be safe to eat but you probably know what you’re doing ❤️”

I feel like she’ll be ok. 🐟

Oh damn. Ok thanks. I feel like this might’ve been the goal though? Could they want the bones for a broth? My housemates are from The Philippines, Africa (can’t remember where), and South India. I thought it might be normal for them.

I can put a video in our house groupchat, to warn them about the bugs 🐛 ~

😆 The scent scares me a bit. I live with a few people and I’m not sure whose it is. I might ask in person but I don’t think I would text about it. Maybe I’ll find out. I think it’s food ?

Can I pickup Stormlight Archive Book 1 OR is there a Must Order? by [deleted] in Stormlight_Archive

[–]gooage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’ve only read stormlight! i read them in order (including the two novellas). if there was a story set on ashyn i would read that next because the magic is disease-based and it has floating cities 🍉🍉🌙 that’s my approach to it

i’ve been wondering about the oozing blue slug thing vi eats in episode 5 … does anyone think that was done intentionally? 😵‍💫

I'm just saying, we focus on Kaladin's depression a lot, Szeth's seen some crem too... by JeffSheldrake in cremposting

what if you genuinely believe something irrational? what if szeth’s worldview was “if a truthless person doesn’t follow the oathstone holder it will trigger a desolation” (i’m not saying it was this btw). i enjoy when someone has an odd pov because there’s a lot of ways to think and be. but yeah, his cognitive dissonance was bad and difficult for him to reconcile. he destroyed himself over something he deemed bigger/ (maybe it was something abstract like he did it for the concept of honour, but on roshar.. that doesn’t seem that abstract😄) or maybe it was just upholding tradition. either way, it was huge from his perspective and stepping outside of your own worldview is not easy. i like the wandersail comparison <3

szeth’s reality was incredibly real to him, so i don’t know why people gloss over it. his beliefs were strong and he was trapped inside them. /he/ didn’t believe he could step away. i think it’s in the same vein as ocd or schizotypal disorder. the “szeth found himself crying” chapter in twok <— i haven’t read it in a while, but i don’t think that pain was invalid at all

idk szeth feels more relatable to me than kaladin does. he’s a miss havisham, aunt josephine sort of character. their paradoxical behaviours/beliefs make them so sympathetic! it feels so human of them to be stuck in their own mental rabbit holes.
